Hey guys I'm new to this whole vapin scene...

I know a decent amount from my own research, but i already bought a "clone"
I know i should have looked around and came on forums before buying one, but i really wanted it right then and there...

I bought it and I think its 510 threading, but Im not too sure. A nice forum member told me it is 510 threading (99%) sure....
SO THATS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!
Before i order a good tank system i ordered a cheap one from ec blends along with some flavors
Clearomizer - Sunrise - eGo CE4 Tank - Polypropylene - ECBlend
Even if it doesnt fit im out 4 dollars so its not a biggie, but im pretty sure it will fit. (promo code 10020)

In a couple weeks i would like to upgrade to a better bigger stronger battery (4-6 volts) and a better atomizer. Whats the best thing on the market right now? I heard of the pro vari being really good and about this rebuild-able atomizer.
ProVari Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette
Genesis DiD Clone (Rebuildable)

what are your guy's thought? and should i go with a cartomizer or atomizer?

Sounds like you did good. You will find that the variable voltage batteries are very useful because you have better control over the vapor. Plus you may have to buy an atty that is of a higher or lower ohs rating that will require you to change that voltage here are some newbie links. This is a good cleaning guide.

Here is a terms list.

I have a provari and I love it my favorite atty is the Vivi nova but others will do you just fine. I also have an ego twist 1000mah and a passthrough that I have for backups. The Genesis is one I want to get later. I don't know about the clone.

For me this all was a bit much at first except for the tech stuff about volts and ohms. I think the chart may help you. I use to be an electronics tech so it came easy for me. The diff types of attys was a learning exp. for me.

almost fogot welcome to ECF. Glad to see you are going vape and not tobacco.

The Provari is arguably the "best on the market", but its pricy, too. Is it really in your price range? If price is not a detriment, then you really can't go wrong with one. Even if, by chance, you don't like it or find that you don't care for variable voltage, they hold their value extremely well and you could sell or trade it easily.

Most people here will probably advise you to start out with a cheaper VV unit like the Twist first, and I couldn't argue with that either. You're talking a price range from $35 for the Twist to $180 for just the basic Provari (w/o a battery or charger).

I'm just now looking into the Genesis devices, so I can't speak on those.

I got a couple of 1000mah Joye eGo twist. Really like em and carry em everyday. I went into a brick and mortar shop in town and found a vmax. Bought it on the spot. Yes I really like it and the entire kit ready to go was $150. I don't regret getting it and am using it right now. But I've started another thread and have really been looking hard at the provari.. Main problem is I don't know what all I want to get with it. Price is high. I think I got enough ot to get it but still it's a lot of money I could use for bills. But then both will still be there tomorrow. The twist are really nice though and a lot less money as was said before.

my suggestion would be The kgo VV the mini vivi nova or the mega tank with the adapeter to clean up the look. theres alot of reasons i would suggest this
1 its a VV device 3.0-6.0 more adjustable then the twists so you can find your sweet spot
2 it has a lcd screen so your not guessing where the volts are at
3 battery light
4 you can use it while its charging so no need to buy 2 of them
5 its 25.99 bucks and comes with a charger and it charges in about 45 mins so you know if vv is right for you with out spending 200bucks on a provari
6 it come from hoosierecig.com and the shipping is super fast got all my stuff with my custom juices in 3 days.
7 spend 50 bucks = free shipping

heres a video if you want to see it and see what the adapter makes it look like and what the vivi nova mega looks like and see how it vapes like

Kgo vv Battery 3.0-6.0 volts review - YouTube

I payed 25.99 for the bat and came with the charger
and 12.49 for the mega vivi nova

the card I got with my order has a coupon code on it for 5% off
the code is 5off

the vivi nova v3 gives a great hit and hold alot easy to fill and you can rebuild it if you want to easy.
Im getting a great clean taste from it. I love the nova no leaks
kgo bat link
KGO V.V. 650mAh

the vivi nova mega link comes with extra heads so you can find out witch one you perfer
Vision Nova Tank Clearomizer V3 Mega

the vivinova mini link same size at the battery comes with extra heads so you can find out witch one you perfer
Vision Nova Tank Clearomizer V3 Slim

adapter just to make it look better if you want to do not need this to use them 6mill adapter for the mega and 3.5 ml for the mini
Adapter for Dual Coil Tanks

but if you must spend alot of money then the provari is one of the best made pvs out. as far as tanks go the vision vivi nova is sweet.
its cheap and holds alot of fluid and you get a great vape lots of flavor. hope this helps

Hello and Welcome to ECF Mr.Cho:)
I second Baditudes comments. Although I don't own a Provari, I did a huge amount of research on this device and true enough IMO it's out and out the most consistent no hassle APV out there with excellent Customer Service to boot. I could have written 'Best out of the Box experience' but there is No Box!:D (My only grievance + I'm winding Baditude up a bit;))
Yes, you can get cheaper devices that may give you near on a similar vaping experience but if you want a Provari, can afford a Provari get a Provari.
I will add that a Twist+Vivi Nova is not a bad addition to your collection for out and about ease & portability, if you lose it you won't be out of pocket too much, a relatively good back-up so to speak.
As for the DiD Clone, good reviews a great learning curve if going into rebuildables is your thing or before deciding to take the plunge or waiting for the Real Deal, there are dedicated threads to this and others similar all over the forum, have look around, you already have your 5 post count the best advice is in those really. I also suggest adding a couple Vivi Novas to your list, rum87mage has given loads of info for those, and they just work!-Well!
All the best with whichever devices you choose.

I think it's a big and expensive step. Bigger/more isn't necessarily better. Instead I recommend you read the Vaper's Handbook (link is below in my signature) and learn with a quickness.
