used unfortunately
Ah. People normally only sell used things when there is something wrong with them. Highest probability it seems from here is that the former owner was having a problem (as is expected with SMOK) got it going again temporarily, and sold it quick using the wildly high $50 price to buy a brand new and better device. You can get a brand new geekvape legend for $50 these days online.

The take home I guess is:
1) don’t buy SMOK. Don’t even let people you don’t really like buy SMOK.
2) don’t buy stuff without checking prices first
3) don’t assume things that are used are going to be on good condition. Everything sold used is sold used for a reason.

The bright side: the most common place people learn these lessons is buying a used car. You arguably got off cheap.
You buy it on eBay? There’s another one. It’s against company regulations to sell ecig stuff on eBay. Someone already being shady is likely to continue to be shady.

There is a learning curve with vaping. Don't buy used unless it's from someone that will refund your money and you should always price check extensively before you buy anything. If you insist on buying Smok, you have a 50/50 chance of having a problem with it. Don't buy batteries on Ebay or Amazon. Don't buy any vaping equipment on Ebay. Don't feel bad, I made all these mistakes except for buying used.

If you have any questions, ask them here before you buy. You'll get plenty of opinions and advice and most of it will be good.
