Help with Tornado Tank 1000 mAh Battery Not Shutting Off

I 've experienced a problem very similar to the one described by MtnLioness at the thread

My Tornado tank was ont he table, the battery started blinking by itself (just like when it tells you it's discharged) but it was almost full charged. And it just fried the atty. Then it died completelly! The atty also died.

This kit was only 37 days old.

According to the last post in this thread (by Scottbee), the problem would be a bad atty.

Is there something I can do to fix it?

Pretty sure it's fixed already, if it repeats that event I would be very surprised.

Might try contacting the vendor you got it from regarding some relief.
