Help with tpa Water melon

I just got my stuff in (wow i wish the premade suppliers could ship as fast as tpa and nicvapes) and i started to make a 3ml batch of water melon 70 pg 30 vg no nic yet dont wana waste it yet and ended up with about 30% flavor before i could even taste anything and the taste is very very perfumey anyone have any ideas for just regular watermelon using tpa watermelon im goina try a new batch and let it set a day see if that helps but was curiouse what would be a good percentage of flavor to do ?and will the perfumey taste steep out ? or am i doin something wrong. its odd though ive watched on youtube people just dumping stuff in a bottle w/o measuring anything i figure it couldnt be that hard if they can do that i am using the juice me up calc.

I also got a batch of white chocolate blueberry and white chocolate cheesecake made at 20% with nicvapes flavoring havent tried em yet but they smell awesome i am goina let these steep though

WOW....that is a bit too much for TPA.....I typically hit around 15%....anymore than 20% is yeah perfumey.....I have not used the watermelon from her yet, so as for a good number, I cannot say for sure, but since you are not using nic, take what you have at 30 % and just add your pg/vg to get back down to 15% and then try capping the bottle and placing it in a glass or bowl with VERY warm water.....I will do this (pre-steeping) with all my mixes.

You can still pre-steep....just mix the flav with the no nic.....pre-steep, then when cooled, add the appropriate amount of the nic....not sure if you have seen this thread, but it seems to be a good one....Kimmer from OneStopDIY talks about the presteeping in post # 26....

Hi Busta, just thought I'd mention that for me, TPA's watermelon tastes like just the rind of a watermelon (no melon fruit at all). Tasty Vapor makes a very different watermelon that actually tastes like the fruit (no rind) but it's a premix.

i haven't ever tried the tpa watermelon but i can tell you i love lorann watermelon it reminds me of the watermelon jolly rancher
