help with volcano tube type

hello, kinda new here. i really wanted to wait and grab a provari, but becuase of $$ i got the volcano tube instead. . im liking the volcano tube so far except that i dont seem to be getting the best performance. i have a local brick and mortar near by called E-CIG City.. i bought a tank there and a few dual coil cartos. the guy there actually clipped off one of the coils saying the volcano will perform better as a single coil. it kinda does. the volcano has Amperage Limiting to 2.5 amps. what exactly does that mean?? and does any one know the best cartos for that limiting of 2.5 amps?? any help is appreciated..

The Lavatube has a 2.5 amp limit built into the circutry to protect itself from damage. If your combination of selected voltage and atty ohms requires more that 2.5 amps the device will automatically lower the voltage to stay at or under the 2.5 ohms. Your best bet for full utilization of the Lavatube is to use single coil attys between 2.5 and 3 ohms.

I use 3.0ohm single coil (Boge) on all my VV stuff, it has the best range and the lowest amp requirement, thus, giving longer battery life
