help with volcano tube...

hello, kinda new here. i really wanted to wait and grab a provari, but instead i settled for the volcano tube instead. kinda wish i would've joined this forum before ha. im liking the volcano tube so far except that i dont seem to be getting the best performance. i have a local brick and mortar near by called E-CIG City.. i bought a tank there and a few dual coil cartos. the guy there actually clipped off one of the coils saying the volcano will perform better as a single coil. it kinda does. the volcano has Amperage Limiting to 2.5 amps. what exactly does that mean?? and does any one know the best cartos for that limiting of 2.5 amps?? any help is appreciated..

I have a L-Tube chrome clone. My "brick and mortar" store calls it the Lambo. At any rate, I switch out carto's/atty's on a whim... when I use 1.7 shorty's, I keep the volts at 3.9-4 (9W). If I go with 3.2 (carts/attys) I bump it to 5.4... as you can tell, I prefer 9W. I don't have any issues with this. I've never been much for dual-coils on the other mods I've owned or tried, so I can't help you with that, but single-coils and the volts set to your preference will still be good, in my opinion.
