Help woth rda please

Hi guys, looking for some help.

i have built a 2.3 ohm coil on a smok rda.
but im not getting any vapor, no hit.

it tastes good, no harshness, no funny anything...

help? Ideas? Suggestions?


Are my coils too close together?

What gauge kanthal are you using? How many wraps? Voltage on your Provari?

Seems to produce vaper with the top offf so im confused

Is your air hole aligned with the coil? It should rest as close to the coil as possible. If your air hole is adjustable open it up all the way. BTW your attachments are not showing up.

My guess also, Id also shoot for a 1.5 to 1.8 resistance

The air hole is on the base, but yes it is open and on the same side as the coil, unless that hole on the top of the base is an air hole....

Sorry, can't see the attachments. Your first pic looks like your coil is on the wrong side, is there a air hole in the deck if so the coil should be over the hole.

Ok ill build another one, i know provari will only handle so low so i was trying to keep it higher... Dont know why attatchments are showing up!

mine will go to 1.2 ohm

Yes the Provari will go all the way down to 1 Ω but I like it little above that. You should get a decent vape at 1.2 Ω to 1.5 Ω on a rda.

Built a 1.5 coil
And placed it over the hole on the base, back in business.

Plenty of vapor.

What difference does dual coils do for ya?
More vapor? Stromger hit? More flavor?

with that provari I would stay with single coils. If you were going sub ohm more vapor

Simply put you can get twice the vapor you are getting now. Sometimes it can equate to more flavor but not always. Definitely more TH. Usually built on mechanical mods with higher amperage rated batteries and sub ohm coils with thicker wire. It can be done on a Provari but it's cutting close.
