Hey guys and gals. I need help asap! I just started vaping my kr808 battery just died (didn't run out of power.. just Crapped out). I don't have a backup! :S anyone know of a DIY passthrough tutorial? or if I can even make one? I don't have any addys or anything to make a proper connection to my carts. THere is a radio shack here.. any chance I could get parts that will work for me from there?

I realllllly really don't want to go buy a pack of analogs

@ swedishfish here in Juneau,AK we are land locked so no truck stops or local suppliers that I know of..

Check the Puck thread, the radio shack part numbers for the coax connector necessary are right there.
At worst you can pull the battery connector off the bum battery and use that, just a little soldering.

The puck is an great mod, and can be made with off the shelf parts and batteries.

Uhm, maybe? Sorry man, I can't be of much help. The jury rigging method (in my mind) is to build part of Nuck's fistpack, tear apart or batt since it's toast, and use that connector on your fistpack. Or, instead of attaching it, use extra long wires so all you've got is the carto in your mouth with 2 leads. Fistpack on your desk for more or less handfree vaping.

OH I KNOW, make it extra long so you can use your foot to activate, then you'll truly be handsfree [/jackass].

Sorry, bad habit of mine to come up with really dumba$$ solutions.

Well I need to keep my junk batt intact.. The company I got it from will replace it just have to wait to be shipped.. I can't wait 5 days lol I need to make something quick!

@4mehealth LOL I like the way you think! I did see a RCA/alligator clip DIY thing I could just use my car battery!! I got a space DeepCycle battery layin around lol

WoooHoooo!! Thanks again everyone for the help and ideas. I decided to try the "Puck" after I waited for my son to sleep I got started at midnight or 12:30... Soo tired now lol I finished in about 3 and 1/2 hours (T.V. distracted me ) Works like a charm! I don't know if I will even go back to the standard 808 battery! Might look into more mods to make That was fun!
