It's ok, you are fine. You are getting attys and CAN clean out the carts. Pull out filling (gently) rinse with warm water (gently) pat dry and let sit till completely dry then re incert. You can soak the carts themselves in hot soapy water.

You can use DT on cartomizers and attys. They just make things a little more simple and comfortable on the mouth but are not a necessity to vape with.

The pre filled carts just plug into the attys your getting. Really no big deal :)

Cartridges are 'carts'
Cartomizers are 'Cartos' with the atomizer/cartidge combined. Not many people use cartridges anymore. The carto/cartomizer has replaced them. They're easy peasy. Fill and vape.

Thanks for clearing that up for me beans. I am still new as well and it really gets confusing sometimes as to what is what.

Also to the OP. I have to recommend the ladies at cignot!!! Their customer service is unbeatable in my opinion so far. When you are new at this it's great to be able to send off a quick email and know it's going to be answered within a few mins. I had a problem with one of my chargers and before I could even finish reading my email response from Vicki, there was a new one in the mail and I got it within 48 hrs. I'm happy to pay a little extra to know that the vendor I'm buying from is super reliable. I got my ego from them and have not had a problem with it at all.

Good luck with your purchase!

ok so lets see if i get this right ... if i get a drip tip i just use that instead of the cartridges ... meaning the drip tip plugs into the atty and then i drip juice into the drip tip and thats it? im ready to go?

The Ego starter kit comes with at least one, probably two atomizers (that's the thing that the battery heats up). Some people like to drip right into the "atty" and vape directly with just a drip tip as a mouthpiece. OR the prefilled carts can be reused. You can vape the juice that comes in it, then put some drops of juice (all juices work with all types of ecigs by the way) in when it starts to get dry. OR you can replace the stuffing: Just take tweezers, pull out the stuffing and add new stuffing (only certain kind can be used - you can get a bunch at any sewing dept but do some research on ECF to make sure you get the right kind tho - I switched to BOGE cartomizers right away so forget now). So your kit will have all you need except a bottle of juice and a drip tip.
A cartomizer is a one piece unit that replaces both the atty and the cart. It's heating element goes through some polyfil (more filler than the cart so holds lots more juice - less refilling). Each lasts about 10 days of normal use and can be cleaned and used again if budget is tight.
Hope that helps a little - it really is a whole new world when you start vaping. BUT SO WORTH IT. Good luck!

Juices - different methods prefer different thicknesses (VG is thick, PG is thin, most people use a blend)

Normal atomizer with cartridge or drip tip - any thickness as long as it flows faster than you vape it

Stuffing cartomizers - thinner juices usually let you get more reuse out of a cartomizer by keeping the wicking and drag good longer. I now only use 20% VG or less in normal stuffing cartos, Some people say the new dual coil ones can handle thicker juices better, even 100% VG.

Tanks and reservoir cartos - generally like the thickness of 20-30% VG. Higher VG may work if the juice has been thinned by vendor or user with distilled water or pure grain alcohol. 100% PG may be more prone to leaking.

Yep :) and your kit is coming with attys (the most important thing, the heating element so to speak) The carts fit on in a similar way except they have a little foam in them you drip liquid on to. The filling always got burned on mine so I just tossed them.

so a drip tip with a BOGE cartomizer will work just fine on an ego? ... i know how to use cartomizers thats what im using right now ... and i like using them pretty simple just take the stopper off the top fill with liquid put stopper back on screw onto batter and your ready to go .. i like that system haha

Any place you buy Boge cartos at. Just make sure you read the description, it gets confusing sometimes. I buy all mine from Vapor Kings.

hhmmm ... ok hopefully this works out .... silly question ... how does a drip tip keep the liquid from going down the center hole in the cartomizer?
