You mean a cartomizer for a KR808D-1?

Yes, you can. If you want to get rid of the prefilled liquid (because you don't like or whatever) just place a tissue around the battery end of the carto and blow gently to get out the excess fluid.

Then gently pry off the white cap, remove the little clear rubber O shaped ring inside and run water through the carto.

Once you get to a point where you no longer smell any eliquid in the carto it should be clean.

Blow out the excess water into some tissue again until its dry. Some people let the carto dry over night- but in my experience if you blow enough of the water out it'll be fine.

Be sure not to over do it- don't use fast running water, or water that's too hot or too cold. The key is to rinse the carto, not blast it into next week.

Then fill it with up to 20 drops (give or take) and you should be good to go.

oh and here's a helpful video from the V4L subforum about how to refill a cartomizer:

Little I'm pretty sure by your posts you have a 510? If so:

Yes you can. If you are using menthol, you'll probably want to stick with that flavor for only one atomizer... it doesn't wash out easily (I have a dedicated atty, I like menthol off and on during the day).

EverClear pure grain alcohol (PGA) is great for rinsing out flavors and cleaning attys (soak for 2-8 hours). No rinsing needed, no long drying time. Rinse the atty with PGA (quick soak for 10 minutes), blow out and reprime it with what ever liquid you are ready to use (about 4 drops usually). Let primer e-liquid soak in for a few minutes, and top a cart up and you should be good to go for your next flavor.

Other flavors can usually be vaped off by using unflavored VG or PG liquids and an empty mouthpiece. Just take care not to vape the atomizer dry. Reprime with your new flavor (it is a good idea to put a drop on the atty every time you refill the cartridge anyway) and put your cart with the new flavor on.

You might want to check out Don's 510 guide. I'm sure you'll find helpful tips there! Here is the link: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ve-ten-nhaler-personal-illustrated-guide.html

oh and where can i get blue foam (for the carts??) any good suppliers here in the us for flavors like vanilla, cherry? they do have nic in them right, because i think this menthol straight (25mg nic) is too strong. i'd like to mix some. what's a good ratio?

VG (1:3) w/ distilled water (1-2 drops), and maybe some menthol (1 drop), and (1 drop each of vanilla or cherry).

does that sound decent?

The rule is, if you won't put it in your mouth, don't clean an atty with it (ISO alcohol isn't for consumption and is toxic). Use Vodka or Crest Pro Health Mouthwash (blue).

Here is a great on-line e-juice DIY calculator that you can bookmark
eJuice Recipe Calculator

25mg was too strong for me when I started out (but would use it when I wanted a cigarette by dripping a few drops into my cart). You can cut it with a bit of VG and a few drops of distilled water to cut down the nicotine. TastyVapor.us also sells zero nicotine liquids, and I've used his menthol Doubler (which is what the zero is called) to cut high nic. liquids. Love his menthol flavor (slightly vanilla and mint to it, yummy and you get a huge 4oz bottle for $15. He also sells a high nic liquid so you can mix it to what ever strength you want (and his banana/chocolate/walnut liquid is divine).
