Heyooooo! I think I see a problem!

What ohm does that coil read out to?

Additionally (almost regardless of the ohms of the coil), that battery is probably not the right battery for your application. That's a low-amp UltraFire (lol, name might be too ironic soon) battery. It's meant for flashlights, NOT for vaping. You need a high-drain, high-amperage battery, such a Sony VTC4 or a LG HE2/HE4 or a Samsung 25R.

You could be putting yourself in SERIOUS DANGER by trying to use that battery.

yep everything is on right

How thick is your wire? The thicker the wire the longer it takes to heat. Also, make sure your positive pin in the top cap is a) making contact with the pin coming from your atty and b) the adjustable positive pin is out enough to make sufficient contact with the battery.

Yeah I'm having a hard time finding the amp limit of that battery (which just makes me even more worried, really), but I'd never use anything with "fire" in the name in my mod.

From the little info I can find about those batteries though, they are absolutely unsuitable for any kind of vaping. Sub-ohm or not, that battery is bad news bears.

Holy moses, good catch! I see the OP just left but a 5800 mAh batt!? what is the amp limit on that. Should be pretty low. Hope he is checking the ohms on that thing.

I think it's a protected battery (meaning hopefully the fuse should prevent catastrophic failure... HOPEFULLY) with a 2.5A rating.

Which would mean, unless that's a 1.8+ ohm coil, he's going over his amp limit by a LARGE number.

Do not try to use this until you get a proper battery, please.

Once you do, check:

1. The 510 pin on the atty and mod are actually connecting. I just got a VA Phenom clone and the 510 pin on that mod does not come up very much. I had to use an atty with an adjustable pin to get a connection.

2. Your positive connection on the mod is meeting the top of the battery.

3. The negative contact on the switch comes up far enough to meet the bottom of the battery when the switch is pressed.
