I am not an expert on vaping. I am however an expert on smoking. For the new vapers who are wanting to get off cigarettes. I was a 3 pack a day smoker for 35 years. I tried patches, pills, shots, cold turkey, hypnosis.I started vaping to cut back on my smoking. I started by vaping in between analogs. then went to smoking every hour and vaping in between. I then moved up to every 2 ours on smoking. If you want to cut back on Analogs or just quit all together find what works for you. This worked for me because with in 2 weeks I was analog free. As my Banner shows I am 24 days analog free.

I wanted to pass my story along so maybe just maybe it will help another heavy smoker kick the nasty habit.

Good Luck to you all and Happy Vaping.
There is life after the nastys.

Thank you Wharr. I appreciate the insight. It is difficult not to think I am failing because I am not analog free just yet. Part of it is that I still have ryo supplies sitting around for me, part of it is that I am still rolling for a couple of dear family members who are not yet ready to make the switch. And before any of you yahoos start in on the "make them roll their own" or whatever.....this is my equipment, and I don't mind. I understand where their head is at. and given the fact that I am not quite free myself, it doesn't seem right to do anything different from them....esp. if they are not ready.

Thanks for your story Wharr. I quit using traditional methods to quit, but I just spoke to a friend that is thinking about using ecigs. She also had a friend who tried ecigs but went back to smoking. I'm going to tell her to think about using this method, instead of going cold turkey. After all, it takes a few days to figure out how to smoke ecigs.

Welcome to the forums from another new user. [Actually, I'm newer than you ... nevermind. LOL]

You'll get there! And like the others posted...look at how many you have not smoked! You're heading in the right direction! For me it was just finding the right juice that you will want more than the analogs. The strength is important too. I started 3 months ago at 24 m and now I am down to 6m which I think is great. I smoked a pack a day for 30 years ( cringe)
