Day two of vaping - I LOVE it! It is SO important to start off with the right equipment. It makes all the difference. I went to a local smoke shop on the Indian res. and was tossed a pack of "Encore" lookalikes. Awful. I strained my neck trying to suck anything out of those things. I felt like I had whiplash! So, instead, I made a trip to the local ecig store - Freedomsmokeusa. They totally hooked me up with what I needed (and nothing more at that.) I vaped like a fiend yesterday (there is a learning curve) and did a LOT of reading on the ECF forums.
Today, I went back to the same store after work and asked them to explain exactly what setup they gave me and to give me another just like it as a backup. I love it - it's all so easy to use and when you get the nicotine level worked out (I had too much yesterday) it's fabulous! I have no desire for an analog.
Here's my setup (so proud that I know this, lol):
- 2 eGo-C Upgrade passthrough batteries
- 2 clearomizers (Kangar Evods - all metal - no worries) - one for day nicotine juice and one for evening lower nic. juice
- a lanyard
- lots of little juices in varying nicotine levels (started at 24, got some 16s and 12 for evening). I smoked methols so I got a variety of minty flavors and some fruity ones (still not sure about these).
I paid around $110 for everything including 50 ml of juices in total. I'm sure I paid more buying local, but then again, I got it immediately (on a SUNDAY) and was given a lot of personalized assistance. Now that I know what I like, I can order online. Although, I like the idea of supporting local business.
I'm sure I will want more after reading this forum, but this is great for now.
One question that I have yet to see an answer for - how do you store your stuff? Are there upright holders out there? I saw one post where a guy made his own Corian holder and someone else mentioned a toothbrush holder. Any other ideas or products out there? Other than a lanyard, how do women carry theirs in a purse. I'm afraid it will leak or spill if I don't keep it upright. Also, I am a teacher, so I need to keep it hidden and locked away. Eventually, I will leave it at home (I normally don't smoke until evening anyway.)
I am so pleased to not be smoky today! My neighbor smokes and it was SO offensive this evening.
Yay me!
