I havent added it up,but I know Im well over 1,000.00 since I started the 1st of June......not one red cent was wasted..started with a $9.95 disposable then went to Blu,then to ego, then the twist.ended up with a provari & penelope...I dont regret one penny Ive spent.I was spending at least 60.00 a week on dip,and after only 3 weeks of vaping I could feel my lip again....I dont think any money spent to get you away from tobacco products is wasted...Good luck

You are not alone. I wasted my money also. Two little batteries, 15 cartos, charger $129.00. Extra 15 pack of cartos $39.99 plus $10 shipping and handling each time. What a racket. I found this ECF and wised up. Joye Ego C starter kit and juice a lot less expensive, wider range of flavors, dabbling with mix my own juices. It is a blast and I don't smoke cigarettes anymore. Hated the plastic leaking tanks, went to Stardust LR cartos and love them.

I "wasted" a lot of money before I ever found Vaping!

Cigarettes were obviously a bad return on investment since they kept me sane but limited my life (in many ways) and threatened my health.

Then, over my 40+ years of being a reluctant smoker, I "wasted" money on pills (Zyban and Champix), patches, gum (nic and no-nic), peppermints, books, CDs, DVDs, hypnotists, traveling to support groups, and I stopped just slightly short of Voodoo spells or visiting the Pope. Some of these were successful for a day or so, some combinations for a couple of years. I have never tried to calculate the cost of all these things.

With Vaping, I count every penny. I threw a few hundred dollars into "slim batts" and pre-filled cartos. They got me to 2-4 smokes a day, so they were not a complete loss. If they had cost me money and didn't provide any benefit, then I would call it a loss.

I went to kGo 1100 pass-through, 1000 Twist, and iTaste. I love them all. My "go to" is a Twist with Vivi Nova 2.5. (soon to try the Mini Vivi Nova).

My greatest wishes? That the Star Dust would work as good as it looks and that iTaste would have something reliable that would fit under the top cap.

ECF is all about helping others! I'm sure your post will help many people avoid some money wasting "first steps" that we all wish we had been warned about.

Relax, Enjoy!

OK, none of you will believe me, but I am willing to provide photographic prrof with 10 days of now when I get home.....

If you want to know how you really want to know how to waste money, follow these instructions:
1. Completely break your ankle in excess of 40 pleaces
2. Get taken to hospital and get some bolts put in your leg and placed in traction
3. Make sure to have your laptop and uninterrupted access online and to your bank account to hand
4. Contract chronic insomnia
5. Spend 4 days on the classifieds here

My bank manager will tell you this is the perfect way to waste more than $8000

FTW:D

Most of us have been there. You gotta start somewhere and test the options available to see what works for you. Vaping definately requires an upfront investment money wise in order to figure things out. My first kit was a bust too but I bought something else and kept trying new things. But long term it should save you money unless you have complusion to buy-buy-buy like I do..LOL

1x 51 Trio Starter (15 carts)
1x Mysic Starter + like 5 packs or carts
2x blu starter kits
millions of blu disposables
millions of bad blu carts
2x eGo twist - broke first one
1x eGo charger
3x SmokeTech tanks
1x Vivi Nova + Metal case
2x sleeve cones
10x cartomizers
1x eGo T tank (impulse buy)
and over $200 in liquid that was mostly leaked or spilled while some was vaped.

It's only been a few months too. I thought this was supposed to be cheaper. Three quarters of that list should be in the garbage now. Not really sure why most of it's still around...

I just looked up how much money I've spent in about 40 days of vaping...yikes!!! The good part is I'm using everything except a few juices that taste like cat piss. I just have to guess what that taste like but I'm pretty sure it's really bad. If no e cig forums existed I wouldn't be spending so much. Most of my purchases average around $30 but they add up quick.

I feel much better, I've saved $418 on cigarettes.
