No batteries! The power cord was $3 at RadioShlack 4.5v, 1.6a. Tons of vapor. Ugly, but its comfortable, dang nabbit! That's Magic Putty!

note: I should add that Magic Putty, for those of you who might not know, is basically JB Weld--2-part mold-able epoxy that starts like clay but cures rock-hard in an hour or 2.

Something that looks like a blasting cap stuck in a hunk of C4, with a big red button.

I'll give you a dollar if you hop on an airplane with that ;-)

cool though, nice job ;-)

I'll give him $50 to do it with a friend videotaping the whole thing.

I assume that this is molded to fit your hand? What is the casing made from?

Totally looks like C4 & caps! I should make a gopher-shaped one like Caddyshack.

Thanks for all the feedback!

I used an entire stick of Magic Putty, sandwiched the pieces, and squeezed it into my palm and let it cure--it feels really good. The atomizer and cartridge is from my first Smoking Everywhere Kit, I had to shim-up the cartridge to fit a bigger wick reservoir. I totally slopped it together, I just wanted it to work.

The cool part about this project is the power source. I lucked out on that clearance adapter--it seems like the perfect v/a. Once I make a prettier version, it will be a great "desktop" e-smoker. I think I will go check out a few head shops for ideas/parts. I live in San Francisco, there's plenty of 'em

The Hard-Wired Eye-Sore, a.k.a. Fuggly--I like it!

FYI, while I was at Radio Shlack, I came across Part #274-1582 or #274-1583, Panel-Mount Size "M" or "N" Coaxial Power Jack. The DSE901 atomizer screws on to it perfectly.
