I did get the big bottle of liquid,if you dont do it thick enough,it rubs off

The surge tank has to be on the airy side as its getting the juice and air from the same spot at the base of the atty,but I like it nonetheless

the caswell plating is fine, gold itself is fine, but many of the lesser plating solutions use and contain cyanide...so not ideal for tanks or drip tips.

I`ve plated my small ody tip and a week later,it was gone...now I plate the part below and go from there,no plating in my mouth anymore.

I've plated hundreds of items and the cyanide base isn't an issue as long as proper procedures are followed. The real problem with people googling plating and then applying it is they lack the basic knowledge of the processes and procedures. One of the most common errors is lack of prep. The item has to have a base plating before gold plating it. Unless someone is willing to invest in the proper equipment and the time to learn the process....all they do is waste $$$.

Copper than nickel for pot metal and aluminium,but steel you plate directly after activating it with a good cleaning and an etching solution.

I agree, most people can't follow basic instructions in a thread, let alone attempt gold plating expensive GG equip. Best thing to do for amateurs is hire a professional to do it properly.

Main problem is electroplating vs leaf plating;I eventually figured it out though,now my plating is perfect and durable.

i can't tell if that solution has the toxic KCN (potassium cyanide) or not, but if you are going to plate any of your drip tips yourself you may want to find out for sure.
