Hi everyone, I'm new to vaping and wanted to thank the forum members for all the great info! I was able to make a good decision on my first vaporizer without going through a bunch of stuff and wasting money. I was smoking over 2 packs of analogs per day for 30 years, and am down to just 3 or 4 a day now. I'm already feeling and breathing better!

I went with the itaste mvp 2.0 and it is really working well for me. It comes with the iclear 30 tank as I'm sure most of you know. I did find the gurgling problem to be true if it's filled too much, so I keep it filled to 2.5 ml and it's no problem. I'm pretty well prepared with extra coils, but am thinking of getting a second tank just in case - any recommendations? I am thinking maybe one of the Kanger Protanks?

I did find out one thing, and that is that I don't like flavored liquids, and will be sticking with straight tobacco types of juice. I initially ordered a bunch of flavored liquids from Liberty Flights, and although they are good and the service was excellent, they're just not for me - I have 230ml of assorted flavors extra that I'll be posting in the classified section as soon as I get my post count up. Any suggestions on good straight tobacco juice?

Good luck to all people vaping out there, expecially those looking to quit regular cigarettes - stay strong!! :toast:

Congrats on making the switch, Dave!

And don't sweat the few you're still burning, it's the one's you're NOT that count, and you'll find in time that you really just don't like smoking!

For tobacco flavors... first, the same "name" from different vendors will probably taste different. Second, you'll probably not find one that tastes "just like" any cigarette.

Best thing, if possible for you in Philly, is to go to a B&M that has flavor testers and try a few out to narrow the field. If you find one or more, get some small bottles to get you through, then check online for similar names. While they won't be exactly the same, they might be close :)

I've found Gourmet Vapor to have the largest selection of tobacco-ey flavors, and have always had good experiences with them. Mt. Baker Vaper has some as well - their French Vanilla is tasty - to me, of course!

Thanks for the warm welcome and words of encouragement all :) I was really happy to find this forum, it's a wealth of knowledge and, like I mentioned, saved me some dough! I have a friend who got into vaping before me, and he wasted so much money on e cigs, vaporizers that he didn't like, accessories etc etc . The good news is that he is completely off the analogs and that makes every penny he spent worth it imo. I've told him about this forum, maybe he'll sign up.

Thank you Susan and David for the advice, I forgot to mention that I wasn't too happy with the airflow of the iclear either, it's a bit tight as some have noted. I'm probably going to go with the Kanger Protank 2, but will check out the Nautilus as well. On the e juice front, I've already ordered some tobacco flavors from Liberty Flights (I love the fact that they take Paypal and ship so quickly) - maybe I'll do a review on them.

Keep on vapin!

Dave
