Hey everyone. For roughly the past 2 years or so I've smoked analogs, but I've been vaping off and on for the past year and a half. Today is my first day i've pushed myself to just vape and use sweedish snus since I had the last of my pack last night, and it's a little bit of a challenge but I'm feeling pretty decent about it. Currently my setup is a generic ego style battery under the Tastypuff name, and I have an iClear 16 dual coil clearomizer and Mega Twix dual tank with a drip tip (for those curious at all because you never know, I might get asked :p). Does anyone have advice to help stay off analogs?

For me the key to staying off ....-logs was to bury myself with information about vaping. Learning everything I could about every type of setup I could find. Then I started buying every setup I could get my hands on. Every bottle of juice that looked good. Anything and everything I could do to keep myself interested. 5 months in, not a single cigarette smoked since I started vaping.

Small Lie- once a month or so I grab a cig from someone at work and take one puff of it just to remind myself how much better tasting vaping is compared to those disgusting burning sticks of death. They are called ....-Logs for a reason. They taste like.........

And...Welcome to the forum :)

KEEP VAPING!!! when you feel those old school urges take a vape. Try a different flavor. if you still feel the need for an analog vape another liquid. I started with mistics long long ago and went back to analogs then finally this year I made the jump and started vaping only. Started with Innokin EP and jumped to SVD cause I wanted that throat hit and feel of "smoke" but now I use rebuildables and get a much more satisfying vape for myself. Remember everyone vapes different and different levels of equipment. It matters the most to be off the analogs. Just give it one full week of vaping and you will see and smell such a huge difference!!! Congrats, have fun and vape on!!!

Welcome My advice is to stay the course. I have been analog free for 3 weeks now after smoking 2.5-3 packs a day 30+ years You can do this. When I wasn't feeling like it was helping much I'd take a good long lung hit that always gave me a good throat hit as well. I also keep a bottle of 24% and a clean dripper just incase I wouldn't get satisfaction. this has been a fairly easy thing for me in spite of trying everything under the sun to quit. I wish you the best when things get tuff remember this is for your life, for your loved ones. find a hobby to keep your mind off smoking. I build and fly small 1/72 scale RC airplanes those have 6" wingspan so they require my full attention to build and get into the air.

I'm gonna try and stick to it now. I currently have 5 different flavors ranging from 8 to 18mg, I use the 8 when I'm at home and just vape all day and bump up to 18 when I'm at work. And currently I can already tell that vaping is going to become a hobby for me, I have a local smoke shop that sells tobacco stuff but the guy has an insane amount of stuff for vaping and that is going to help as well. Thank you everyone, especially for the very quick replies. I greatly appreciate it :)

good for you fireshibby! i'm new also and i have to agree with Nate Rager - the best incentive is to seek out, read and learn as much info as you can. the more you learn, the more enthused you'll get about vaping, and the less you'll even want a smoke. i think alternating your nicotine levels is a good idea also; i do the same, higher nic when i get a craving, but mostly keep it at a lower level when home vaping all day. :p

either way, for me, the more i vape the more i like it, and the less i even care about smoking a cig. i hope it's the same for you. Coming around to this forum is also a great motivation, lots of support and information here. good luck and vape on! :vapor:

That's great, you are on the right track. Just keep vaping and trying to find some flavors you really like. Don't freak out if you smoke a cigarette, just vape the next time. That's what happened for me, I never really "quit", cigarettes just faded further and further away until they were gone. Vaping is just such a better experience for me that cigarettes lost their appeal.
