Hi everyone

Simply getting an introduction post in but might as well share a bit about myself here!

I'm 29, used to be a pretty heavy smoker for a few years in my early 20s. At my worst my addiction had me burning through 2 packs a day, average 1 pack. It was brutal, I felt and smelled like crap 24/7 and it was just hemorrhaging money from my pocket but I could not quit for the life of me. Just have that addictive gene I guess. I can't remember how I found out about it, but I got into e-cigs with a over-priced POS cig-a-like and just snowballed from there.

At a certain point I was spending just as much money on vape gear but luckily it's calmed down since I found something I really liked. My daily driver for a while has been a Triade 250c mod + CSMNT rda. Even got into DIY juice to save a few more bucks!

If you've read all that, thank you for your time

(belatedly) to ECF mouthforwar. So glad that you are here and congrats on the vaping. I sure wish vaping had been around when I first started smoking. It is all about finding what works for you. Everyone is different. Enjoy and make yourself at home.

Hello there amouthforwar.

Like you I was a 3 pack a day smoker... well 3 packs on Fridays. Between the stress of financial paperwork for a volunteer fire company, and dj the same night at the firemen's club, from dawn to dusk I had a lit cigarette in my hand.

Long story short, I've been smoke free for almost 3 years thanks to vaping.

My favorite setup lately has been Oxva Arbiter on a Dovpo Odin. But doing reviews I usually have a dozen things on my desk.

Also like you, DIY mixing has really hammered in the crafting aspect of vaping. It's even become the main focus on a weekly live stream where I review random recipes from ELR (e-liquid recipes). There are literally thousands of recipes people made, but don't have reviews on them. So why not help the community by throwing my subjective opinion in so a new DIY'r doesn't try to mix a bad recipe. And obviously we try to improve them if they aren't as good as they could be.

BTW your user name is a perfect candidate for Vape Advocacy to help the cause.
