I'm Steve. Started vaping last year with Blu's. WORST mistake I ever made. Switched to Red Dragons... That didn't work. Then I went to the Tornado (eGo). I've been hooked ever since.

My brother got me hooked on the GLV series of mods, and even taught me how to make my own e-juice. I've saved a LOT of money by quitting the regular cigarettes, and now I've pre-ordered my GLV-3 5V! =) I'm nerding out for this hardcore!

Anyway, I'm still pretty new to the vaping thing, so don't be surprised if I ask a stupid question or two here or there. Thanks in advance, and I can't wait to get to know everyone.

Welcome Steve...like myself, I also got a headstart vaping/quitting analogs before joining here....I hadn't smoked a single analog in 8+months, vaping on and off since and only with the forum since the beginning of this month...I started off with a not-so-cheap but lousy mall e-cig out of a catalog, and until recently (last atty died, good riddance) been using a borrowed mod and picked up a roughstack v2, thanks to trying out a friend's, and one my brother aquired ... once it's arrived and you get some use out of it, let us all know how you like that GLV-3 you're waiting on...

There have been, still is, times when I had what I thought would be a stupid question. However if I wait a bit, someone else usually asks it for me. Everybody is learning here and from what I have found so many are willing to share knowledge.

Well, most of my questions end up being with different additions, like what's a cartomizer, what's the advantage of having that over an atomizer if I'm a dripper, will that affect my usage with a GLV-3, etc. Pretty much everything I've learned so far has been through my brother, but I've learned enough to get me by so far. =) Glad to see so many nice people on, too.

I've been to a few forums where it ends up where users end up typing things like:

oMg, u R a n0oB uDoN't No WaT a CaRtOmIzUr Iz .....

It's always a plus when I can actually read what everyone can write. Can't wait to learn and, POSSIBLY, hand off what I know!

I got the gloss black with a clear coat, top AND bottom feed options! 5v here, too. I thought I was spoiled when I had the eGo, but when I started vaping with the GLV 5V version, I nearly peed myself in happiness. =)

Lmao! I got the clear coat, top feed option, I'm mainly a dripper. Figure I can always get it changed if I need to, but already have a bottom feeder and I still prefer the taste of dripping so think the top feed will work best for me. Shouldn't be much longer now...

What atty do you use on your 5v? I have a Darwin so I've never had to worry what to throw on as it takes all types.
