I just quit smoking 3 weeks ago after 3 weeks ago after 24 yrs of smoking. My wife and I are having our first child and I NEEDED to quit just for that reason. I recently went to freedom Smoke USA in Tucson and they really helped me out(Yeah kinda a plug for those guys) Anyways they were VERY helpful and pointed me in the right direction. I ended up buying the Joy E510. for the first week or so it worked really well. I bought some sample flavors(choc cake rootbeer float and a few others). Because I was a semi heavy smoker I chose the 24mil nic level. I have the hardest time in the morning with my coffee and thought this was the best nic level for me. I tried the 12-18-20 and those didnt cut it. So I digress...I have the E510 and I am not really happy with it. It is very hard to clean and vaping of flavors seems to have gone by the way side. I have done everything to clean that they reccomended. Compressed air and a little rubbing alcohol soak. Nadaq is working.

So I need some advice on a new vape. I would like long battery life and easier to clean. I would really love any suggestions from you vets out there in vape land. I would prefer to be able to and buy in the store vs. ordering online but if you all think ordering online is better due to choices and availability I will certainly do that as well......

Thank you all!!

I've not got a vapor store anywhere near. Haven't ever seen one in my travels either, tho I would like to visit one. Econ 101 says a brick & mortar store has higher expenses than online store so their prices would need to be higher. Here is a list of ECF approved suppliers. You can feel confident using them.
OOPS Wrong link...see below
The setup I use that keeps me off ciggies is:
Kgo kit from dark city vapor or Hoosiers ecig supply
Boge LR 2.0 cartomizers.
Dark city vaper has some good ejuice samples.
Good luck

Hi and welcome to ECF. What type of delivery system are you using with the E510?
Different delivery systems:
atomizer/ atty- an element on to which 3-4 drops of juice is dripped
or
cartridge/ cart- a container with sponge (filled with juice) that is used with the atty- juice drips on to atty from cart and is vaporized
or
cartomizer/ carto- metal tube with stuffing and element.
or
carto+tank- a carto with a hole punched in it. Carto is than placed in a glass, metal or plastic tank which is filled with juice- juice saturates carto by way of hole in carto.
or
Clearomizer- a plastic or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing.

The reason I ask is because 9 times outta 10 the problem lies within the delivery system. I have a few suggestions PV wise.

With the E510...I guess I use the drip. I drip 2-3 drops on the coil directly. The ppl at the shop didnt showed me that way and thats the way I have been doing it. I have been reading here of different ways to do but with all the lingo and styles of vaping on here I was getting lost. also am I cleaning my e510 out properly? Would you reccommed other ways to go about it?

Although you'll get the best vape possible from dripping it's a hassle and the atomizers can get quite clogged up. I have a friend that drips and he soaks his attys in PGA for a couple of hours. If you really enjoy dripping you may want to consider the highly regarded Reo bottom feeder BUT it also involves using an atomizer:
reosmods.com
Next in line would be the variable voltage Twist (3 volts to 4.8 volts. BUT Kgo is just about to release the Kgo VV 1100 mah 3-6 volt PV- pre order
KGO batteries 1100mAh
With variable voltage you can dial up the voltage and thus get more "kick" from your vape.
The most popular delivery systems are cartomizers or clearomizers BUT they are not even close to dripping.
One last point. Vaping dehydrates as PG and VG trap the moisture in our mouth and throat and thus the vapor. I drink at least 1 1/2 liters water per day. Dehydration can have a huge negative impact on vaping- sore throat/ lungs/ mouth/ nasal area, flavors tasting awful and/ or tasteless.

Its not that i enjoy dripping...Its that I havent had any other way to do it. Hence me asking for suggestions for you guys/gals. Being In kinda new at it I just want the best bang for my buck(flavor, cleaning, ease etc...)

If you really want to save DIY juice is the way to go and not hard at all with this calculator:
eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator
I use clearomizers and carto+ tank and spend about $1.50 per week on everything. With carto+ tank cartos last:
with light juice= 2 weeks or 80-90 ml
with dark juice= 1 week or 50-60 ml
I've converted many people and when some are shocked at the initial outlay I suggest they "get their $$ back" by way of DIY. I'm no Lab Technician but after vaping 1 month I was DIY'ing juice.
Items needed:
Flavorless Nic Juice
PG and VG- bought pharmacy- about $15-$20 for 500 ml of each
Flavors
Measuring tool- $2.00 at Walamrt:

Also for juice sales keep your eye on this thread- some amazing juice deals:

If that method of cleaning doesn't work, then you need to try this one...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/69834-my-atty-resurrection-method.html

And if you only have one atomizer, you better buy two more right now.
Having only one atomizer is asking for trouble.

And remember, they aren't meant to last forever, and may last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
And losing an atomizer doesn't mean you need a new electronic cigarette, just a new atomizer.
