Hey everybody ! im new and really need some help

Hey ecf community! I am thinking about buying a ego c twist for my first PV but i dont really want the atomizers that come with it and all those little parts i would really like to just get the ego batterys and get tanks for it but i have no idea what tanks i should get i heard that dual coils dont work well with the ego twist could you guys tell me everything i need to get to make a good ego twist kit and post links for were to get them i would really apreciate it thank you guys !

Hi and welcome! There are several Twist kits available from different vendors, The most important factors would be your budget and what size battery. I know of a good kit that comes with two 650mah Twists. Some people think that wouldn't be enough battery life (even though you vape one while charging the other), so it's personal preference.

ETA: I misread the question. As far as dual coils, the Twists don't have a high enough voltage to get the full effect.

Hi Illmatic. Welcome to the ECF. As far as Twists and attachments go , I can tell you what does work within the limits of the batteries and you can go from there. Single coil cartomizers(in or out of a tank) anywhere between 2Ω and 3Ω works well. My wife uses a 2Ω on her twist right at 4.8volts. I/We have never experienced any cutoffs of refusal to fire all the way down to 2Ω even at high voltage. I prefer the 3Ω because it gives me the ability to adjust between a warm vape and a cooler vape, depending on my mood at the time.

I have also been using the replaceable head clearomizers, specifically the T2(Ego cc2.4) and the Vivi Nova(full size) and with any of the three heads available for either of them (1.8Ω,2.4Ω,2.8Ω) have nothing bad to say about the Twists.

Any way you go the Twist is a good way to get your foot in the door of Vaping and will serve you very well for a long time. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

I recommend going ala carte. Get 2 Ego Twists in 650 mah, or 1 650 and the other 1000mah. or a Vision spinner and also make sure you have usb charger + wall wart/adaptor.
Get a box or 2 of single coil LR cartos and 2 clearomizers or 1 vivv nova tank.

That way, you will know whether you like cartos or tanks/clearos by the end of your experimenting.

Get some juice and you're set.

Also, don't get bogged down in "which" clearos, which cartos..........there are like a GAZILLION varieties, and everyone is going to tell you their favorite, which isn't my favorite, etc. You'll get the general gist of what they are only by using them.

Later on, you can start figuring out which one works best for you, buy some different brands, varieties, sizes, wick lengths, etc. There is NO WAY to know that right now, which is why I never get overly specific with newbies, I think the terminology (LR, SR, long, short, top coil, bottom coil, blah blah blah) just confuses them further.

4 weeks into vaping, I ended up buyiing a bottom feeder and only vaping off atties, so.....I do still use my Twists quite a lot, thought I liked clearos, tried every brand known to man, and now I'm back to LR single coil cartos.

Yes, "tanks" and/or "clearos" have the atomizer coil built into them.
So do the cartos.
Yes, LR single coils will work best for Ego Twist.

Those piece systems you are talking about with cartridges and separate atomizers are not where you want to go, ie. earlier ego systems

Most everything is what is called 510-threaded nowadays, it's sort of the industry standard. Not too much to worry about there.

(not the same as 510-mini cigarettes which are same size as cigarettes and are called minis or cigalikes).

Yes, LR is low resistance.

Across top, would be Volts (setting for your ego twist, goes from 3.2 to 4.8)
Across left side, would be resistance of your cartos/clearos/tank coils

You can see anything in green is sort of your sweet spot.

If you wanted to buy 4.0ohm cartos or clearos, for instance, you can see you would have to turn up your Ego Twist to at least 4.0 to get a decent vape, and if the battery is not fully charged, your vape is going to be real weak and cold.

Basically 1.8 or 1.7ohm up to 3.0ohm resistance best for Ego batts

ETA: I have 4 black eGos, but I got a red 1000mah Twist when I discovered that it's more of a dark ruby red. It changes with the light, so it looks more red red in this picture:

I know, but I have bought from him over a dozen times, and he hasn't screwed me, he knows people see him like that, and it means he has to be on his toes, and i hear allot of people talking crazy yo,, but not ONE has bought from him, only listened to other people...
