Hey hows it going guys!:)

Just signed up and thought I would come and say hi and ask a question at the same time!

Firstly about me!

Im a 20 Years old from the UK and I have been vaping now for almost 2 years! Currently vaping on the Tugboat Tuglyfe Box mod with Tugboat v2 RDA

As for my question, I am looking into getting into DIY e juice and have purchased a started pack with the basics but I cant make a good juice, I know this is probably due tot he 2 flavors I were sent raspberry and honey, yuck :p

My question is, where is the best place for me to buy my flavorings from that wont kill me on shipping fee's? I live in the UK as mentioned. If it helps, I am really into creamy and fruity desert flavors such as mothers milk, so i would love to be able to make my own juices like that.

Thanks a lot for reading guys and merry Christmas to all!

I buy The Flavor Apprentice, Capella and other flavours in Canada with no issues. I would find out who distributes them in the UK.

Keep in mind that flavours are legal basically everywhere, so you can import easily. Not sure where you could import from with low shipping rates, but there are options.

I've only been mixing my own juices for a couple of months so haven't shopped about a great deal. I'm in the UK and vapable is the cheapest I've found for flavours, they stock capella, flavour west and perfumers apprentice as well as their own. Their vg and pg aren't the cheapest but its handy buying it all in one place, pretty fast delivery as well, usually next day if you order early enough.

Hello, and welcome to the site!

As far as the shipping issue goes, I can't chime in as I live in the US.

When you're starting out I'd suggest finding some reputable recipes online and go off them. It will help you to understand how the different flavors work in a mix and how they compliment each other. Mothers milk should be an easy one because many people are in search of the end all be all clone.

DIY is like learning the harmonica, you might play around with the instrument for a long time, slowly picking things up as you go. Then one day all those random bits of skill click together and everything makes sense.

Good luck!

Hello and welcome to the forum @Aidan Vapes. Glad to have you here!:)
For all things DIY head on over to the DIY ELiquid Forum. Lots of great info in all the "stickies". Below is the information I often give to members new to DIY.
  • Dannyv45's blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice. => dannyv45 - Blogs
  • Hoosier's blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives. =>Hoosier - Blogs
  • For a juice mixing calculator consider using eJuiceMeUp
Here are some threads you may like to read through for different flavoring companies. Many of the posts include recipes and comments about a specific flavor.

Welcome to ECF!

It's just my opinion but if you hang out with vapers, or in a vape shop, get people in to DIY for juice and unregulated box mods. The more of us that do DIY, I think govts will realize we cannot be stopped. Know how to do nicotine extraction from tobacco, and determine where you are going to get PG/VG/Flavors and electronics parts when the going gets tough.

Good luck!

Check with TFA and see if they have a distribution place in the UK. You can buy direct from them but it doesn't really save a bunch unless you buy over 4oz bottles. Start with simple recipes. Single flavors like TFA ripe strawberry or similar. Add flavors as you get the hang of things. With TFA, more is not always better.
