With the help of being able to browse and search these forums and read all your amazing and helpful posts - I picked up a PV and dropped smoking regular cigarettes forever. This is now the middle of my third week with very little trouble thanks to you guys and the best quit-method I've ever experienced. Seriously, even in my dreams at night I've been offered cigarettes and my dream-self says, "Oh no thanks, I vape now. It's so much better. Have you tried it?"

I feel so much better already and I enjoy vaping much more than smoking. Although I'm a very light vaper, only about 1ml a day at 18mg nicotine, I'm already a little obsessed with PV's and juices! I go on walks now without coughing. My husband was always a non-smoker and finally I get to save him from the horrible smell of regular cigarettes. I can even kiss him by surprise now, without having to run and brush my teeth and use mouthwash a few times in a row. The other day he sat next to me while we watched TV and he smelled my hair and grinned at me, because all he could smell was my peaces and cream shampoo. I've always looked forward to that day, and now I get to have it all the time.

This has probably saved my life. Even though I'm only 32 now, I used to experience sometimes bad side effects from smoking, like these sudden asthma attacks. But I couldn't stop smoking and those gums and patches were way too expensive and didn't work for me at all. It's all gone now - the asthma attacks stopped three weeks ago when I quit, I don't wake up coughing and choking in the night at all anymore, and now my poor lungs will heal themselves at last. Hopefully I'll participate in the forums a bit now that I've delurked. You guys are the best and I just wanted you to know how much you really helped a person, even a lurker that you didn't know and never talked to. You may have saved my life.

Thanks everyone again for all the warm welcomes! I'm still going strong. About to tell my husband to throw away the last few boxes from a carton of regular cigs. I had him hide them from me, but somewhere in the house, in case I just couldn't handle it. But now that it's been almost three weeks I don't have to worry any more. I was thinking I should give them to someone for free, but that is like giving someone poison or drugs or something, and I think maybe they're better off in the garbage. I'll give any friends free vapes though any day!

Many people decide to donate theirs to a homeless shelter. I know where you're coming from but please consider that someone may benefit from them. When they are ready they will find a way to quit. When we win the lottery we can donate ProVaris! I know how I would feel as a smoker if someone threw out smokes rather than offer them to me. Let's not forget what it was like.

This is just a comment. You are free to do whatever you like.

Relax, Enjoy!
