Hey Everyone - I'm finally posting - I have a question

Hey so im new to the forum and new to vaping in general.

About a month ago I bought my first ecig at a local tobacco shop. It's a puresmoke labeled ecig..

I haven't been able to quite identify exactly what the ecig is I got but I think its a modified kr808-1 - it's a 3 piece version tho. Bat, Atty and Cart. It's really small too just about the size of a regular cigarette.

In one word I can say it SUCKS... but that being said, it has opened my eyes to the potential of these things as a new way to smoke. As soon as I get a better unit than the PureSmoke I think i'm going to be in Vape heaven.

Why it sucks is that I have gone through 3 attys... In order to get a new atty you have to buy a box of ten carts which includes a new atty. at 37 bucks... SCREW THAT. I bought TW Patriot Range juice to fill my carts with and it just does not burn right... tastes acrid and nasty. I had to cut it with VG to get a nice smoking experience.... but then my ATTY frikin FAILS... ugh so frustrating... I'm now smoking analogs again because of this. And the battery will no longer hold a charge longer than like 30-40 puffs. Then it wants to charge for 2 hours again... wtf

What I would like to know is what is the best pass-through model I can buy. I want to go right into big vapor production - 5 volt action.

Thanks everyone!

If you just want a passthrough, they're available just about everywhere, but keep in mind that you're tied to the power source.

Why not just try an Ego, if you can swing it, it's a great ecig and the battery life is anywhere from 6-10 hours, depending on your vaping style. Couple it up with a LR attie and you're simulating 5V's without the huge mod.

Good luck and keep us posted!!

Where do you recommend I get my eGO... ive seen several places that offer them.

Got mine from Cignot, great service and decent prices. Ordered on a Tues. and got it on Thurs. (I'm in NJ).

As Domino said, for the price, they are hard to beat. There are lots of other options, but an eGo is a great place to start (or end)

Just my :2c:

You can get a 5volt passthrough from Madvapes for $15.00 the same price as the regular ones. If your going to go to a mod the Laser from Ikenvape uses a 10440 battery and they're $35.00 or you can go top shelf and get a Buzz from notcig and it has an adjustable voltage that lets you find your own sweet spot. I can't vape without it. Lastly, you can build a 5volt mod for about $25.00 and at Madvapes, in the how to section, are the instructions plus they sell all the parts. Hope I didn't confuse you more.
