Hey All;
I am 6 month into vaping, and I join this forum to learn as much as I can from everyone here. I am a legally Blind Vet and was a smoker for 45 years, until my Son and his wife introduced me to vaping. I was told by my doctor at the VA, after having major back surgery, if I wanted my fusion to heal that I had to quit smoking! So I started vaping, and guess what? I quit the day after I took my 1st vape. WOW! I tried everything from patches, gum, chantix and ever hypnosis, nothing worked until now. So I would like to here from other success stories like mine? Remember "Don't Smoke, Just Vape"

My Son is in the Army at Fort Bliss in Texas, and when I see him I am going to take him and his wife for the biggest steak dinner I can find. Since their income is a little tight, I am going to buy them a great Vaping setup for both of them. Something that they will appreciate and will get them Vaping better with more taste and control than they have ever had. They love to vape and would love to have a good setup, So I am going to take them out and get what ever will work for them in the long run. He is a great Son and I am very proud of him! So can anybody make some recommendations for me to get him?

My first duty station was Ft. Bliss. If you get a chance to see any of the Iraq vehicles its likely I had something to do with there presence there.

Congrats on quitting! How much better do your lungs feel after 6 months? After 3 weeks I can already tell a huge difference.

YI don't huff and puff no more, I feel so much better you just cannot believe what it made me feel like. And now when I walk by smokers, I just cannot stand that smell. you know after smoking for 45 years I cannot believe that I used to smell like that! That smell is so horrible, and when I'm riding in my car, I can smell if somebody that smoking in the car in front of me, it is that bad. So the answer to your question is do I feel better, Hell yes I feel better. The biggest thing is I got my taste back, when I eat fried chicken now, it tastes like heaven, I cannot believe how much smoking takes your taste away, so yeah for all those people that smoke out there, look what you're missing, because the taste of food is so much better. And since a started vaping, I never really gained any weight. I still have the hand to mouth habit with Vaping which is perfectly fine, that's one of the hardest habits to break, but with vaping now, it's not habit, it's a hobby, although it's kind of expensive hobby but you know it's something that my wife and I enjoy, even my 91-year-old father enjoys it so much that I bought a Tesla mod today and he liked it so much, he said go get your own, this on is mine, LOL. So yes, We are a vaping family! Very Very Happy.

You know, my dad smoked a pipe for many many many years, and when I got into vaping, my dad wanted to try it. So we went and got him and E-pipe, and he used that for about two weeks. Then I got my Itaste MVP with an Iclear 30S clearamizer, and he wanted know how come I was getting more vapor than he was, so he tried mine, loved it, and he got one too. Now today I got my Tesla mod, he tried it, he liked, he took it from me! Ha so much for that LOL....
