Hello Hello....

I've been lurking for a little while now, maybe a few months and decided to finally register about a month ago. I've had an unfortunate extending of my jobless-ness so I've had a ton of time to read up and educate myself on all things vapor! :) Although it has made even buying an eGo Twist nearly impossible...:( Hold on to those careers, it sucks out here...and I've got 2 degrees and mid level exp.

Enough about that...So I think I started with chewing tobacco or dip around 11 or 12. My Grandpops sayin "Here ya go boh...want sum 'bacca." Over the next few years with increasing frequency and eventually turned into smoking cigs. Pretty much on and off the cigs for a few years at a time for the next 20. Always smoking cigars though, cigars were MY quiet time, alone in my studio or where ever I could relax or even chill with a buddy. And of course I almost always had a can of Cope on me too.

So needless to say, I love tobacco as we all do right. But at some point, like many others, I fell onto a blu disposable and loved the taste. Didn't feel quite right but that taste was awesome! Eventually after some more back and forth with them my Pops stopped by one day and tossed me a blu starter kit and several boxes of carts. I was pumped! Until about 1 week later when I realized just how crappy those things are! :)

That's when I started my quest and eventually found you guys and all the great guys on YouTube like RIP and GG and PB, etc etc. I read and watched everything I could and eventually scratched up enough cash to pick up a rda (cheap one of course) to play with, a couple iClears and a Twist starter kit. Holy moly did that blow me away, even though I already knew what "real" vaping was by watching, I most certainly had never experienced it myself. At that point I basically completely immersed myself in the culture and community...virtually anyway, and loving it.

I think I'm getting a bit carried away here but thanks to everybody sharing knowledge around here, I for one, very much appreciate it. It's helped me along my way quite nicely! And I've still got a long way to go.....Although with all this time on my hands I'm starting to think about building some DNA20 or 30 mods. At the very least for a project for myself.

I'll stick around.

Take care!

Diving in the deep end ASAP are we? I subscribe to Rip on Youtube, not only is he very intelligent and has swayed me in some purchases, He is funny as Hell!! Love his videos, they are what has helped me get into the world of rebuildables and the fact that he does it with a laugh is even better!

Def stick around! Theres more to this community than I thought was possible.

Thanks guys...yeah, the deep end. That would be exactly my style. Albeit not a blind jump, I always devour every piece of info I can find before I dive. :) But yes, definitely straight away.

I'm a chemical engineer, spent most of my career as a chemist but I have had some experience with developing prototypes and pilot plants. So building a mod would actually be very similar to some of the stuff I have done. One of my best buds is an ace electrical engineer too so I can always run things by him when I'm unsure.

I dunno, just thinking...too much time on my hands. :)

Thanks again for your replies guys...
