It's easier for me to mess with coils it turns out than to wick, probably because I know how to weld and understand metallurgy a little bit

Next step, watch about 50 wicking tuturials and try to grasp perspective of how big the cotton should exactly be, exactly how much to fluff it ect

Yep, this pair here of 316L SS Framed Stapled Claptons with 38g or 40g (can't remember, pretty sure 38g) @ 0.15Ω are 4 months old. I'm pretty sure I can get another month at least out of them before replacing for they're still performing great. But then again they're made with real Sandvik wire from Kidney Puncher not crapwire like KBee

I had a knife from Kershaw made out of that stuff! it was 62 on the rockwell hardness from a stainless steel blade!

from when I was cleaning it up, but like I won't ever find that knife again and it was stolen but honestly favorite pocket knife I ever had
