i'm brandon. been lurking around your community since i began vaping full time a few weeks back, and figured it was time to say hello. honestly, all i can say is that has been quite the life-altering experience. though i'm a fairly young guy, i started smoking around age 12, and it has been the plague of my existence ever since. i've tried everything you can imagine to rid myself of the terrible affliction. the patch (which actually worked for a few years), gum, lozenges, hypnosis, chantix, wellbutrin, cold-turkey. nothing stuck, and i found myself feeling miserable, pissing away all of my spare money, absolutely disgusted with myself with all of it and the "ritual" itself.

like many others, i tried a few throwaways from the local shops and was satiated for a bit, but ultimately ended up purchasing more cigarettes from the friendly neighborhood death merchant. one day, i simply said enough's enough, and purchased a KGO kit from nwvapors with a couple of clearomizers and some sample juices and haven't looked back! that one $50 purchase changed my life in ways that i never imagined. in three short weeks, i have managed to reduce my nicotine intake from a pack or so to a few short vape sessions a day and have gone from 24mg to 12 like it was nothing. i work a very stressful job as a cook, and for years, i looked at the smoke break after a busy service as a sweet release of a strange sort, choking down poison with my comrades, relieving stress negatively, and feeling like garbage about it day after day, year after year. since i discovered vaping, this has changed dramatically. i might vape a bit before work, a puff or two when given the chance, and a few minutes after work in the morning. that's it! sometimes, after a few beers it can become a bit of a crutch, but i have seen no evidence of it causing harm to my health or general well-being. after vaping for a few days, i found that i could breathe much easier, i have much more energy, and i feel all-around more hunky dory than before. cannot imagine going back to "analogs."

anyway, good to meet you guys. sorry if i was a little long-winded. i find your forums to be very informative, and i thank you for having me.

I also tried everything you mentioned to quit. Finally the "small batts" got me to 2 - 4 smokes a day. When I got the eGo style setup I never considered smoking again. I made sure to start the day with a solid vape and if I craved nicotine I reached for a vape. I'm lovin' it!

Welcome to the Forum!

Relax and Enjoy!
