Just wanted to say hey and thank you guys so much! Before I registered I was looking over everything about EVERYTHING.

While I am not new to the E-Cigs, how much everything has changed since I bought my first one (right after they became available here in US). My first ecig was from SmartFixx. Which is the same cig as NJoy apparently. From what I read back then.

I had no idea what to expect...people said it was good, I read reviews and everyone was like yay.

I got it, and was somewhat disappointed with it. I used it for a couple weeks, before stopping completely.

Never had any vapor really, unless I sucked on the thing for like a minute and then exhaled. Even when I did have vapor, it was extremely inconsistent. So I stopped.

Now I have just ordered my next ecig, a Joye 510.

Based upon the reviews I have read, it seems to fit what I like. Good flavor, lots of vapor, pretty good throat hit. I got mine from cignot and I got to pick my eliquid (ECOpure) and batteries, etc. It seems I should have ordered a manual as well as an automatic! I also want to try getting a Blu, mod it, since people say it's pretty good after you break it in and mod it.

Been smoking here for 12 years...since I was 16 in Germany.

Since the introduction of the Fire safety cigarette and my qualms about smoking pretty much the same material that they make car headrests out of, I have decided to go back to ecigs. I loved the taste of them, clean and a bit sweet.

Anyway, hey and thanks for all the advice I've put to good use the past week!

I'm concerned that you got an automatic battery instead of a manual.

Most of the problems you had with your old model were probably due to using an automatic battery.
So I worry you may find you have many of the same issues with your new 510 model.

Just make sure to get a manual battery if you have any problems.
Wouldn't want you to give up for the wrong reasons.
:)

Yeah I have noticed that there is a learning curve to the 510, but once you get it all set up correctly, people are very happy with it! I am prepared to go and get some pyramid tea bags and mod the filler after seeing how it goes without modding it.

I used a Smartfixx e-cig about a year and a half ago..maybe it was 2 years, I don't remember, but the battery is still sitting in my car. LOL! I didn't have much luck with it, except for the last catridge (I had ordered about 20 carts at first) and it was pluming smoke everywhere and was a good last cart...but then I just didn't want to deal with it anymore after so much disappointment.

My friends liked it though...heh.

Just remember: don't try and smoke it like you did a cig - its a different slower, longer draw. It isn't a cig and tbh after 2-3 weeks I now prefer my PV to any cig out there (and I didnt quit cigs striaght away but I smoked less n less every day until i stopped). Cigs don't taste of Butter rum or blueberry cheesecake :D
If you find after being on your PV a while (and you may not) that something is missing, then you might want to think about supplemeting with Snus or snuff. You *can* get a stronger nic level to see if it helps but it may not be nic you are 'missing'.
Either way - remember its something you will need to get used to - and then you will fall in love with it. Best of luck to you and have fun vaping

Hehe thanks for your advice. It is true. I have to say with my first ecig, I really did enjoy it. I didn't buy carts with enough nicotine (I bought low level carts), which probably contributed to me going back to analogs so quickly. Honestly, I enjoyed USING the ecig, but I guess I didn't have enough nicotine in my brain, so it was complaining alot. LOL!

I didn't do any research beforehand and I didn't find this wonderful forum to ask questions and get information. Now that I have though, I am more than prepared to launch myself into it again!

I contacted the people I bought it from and asked to include manual batteries instead of automatic batteries.

They were more than happy to change the order for me and they have been shipped today! I can't wait to try this out!

This is NOT because you were buying, or because they're trying to impress a new customer. Those girls @ cignot are radical in every aspect of customer service! I had a new atty melt a cart on me in 10minutes of vaping. Sent an email, figuring noob that I am, I did something wrong somehow. 4 minutes... 4 measly minutes later I had an email with a tracking # for the free replacement atty.

Terri & Vicky rock! You chose wisely my friend. I really like my 510. I'm a very heavy vaper, so the batt life ain't cuttin' it. I'm ordering an SB (Silver Bullet) tomorrow and can't wait! Love the flavor and th from the 510 attys, and I'll give my batts to my wife. Good choices all the way around.

And oh yeah... Welcome (back!) to the revolution!

Terri was who emailed me back! She emailed me back within like 30 min, even though the order was placed late at night! I was very impressed and am happy that I chose a good place to get my 510 from. I figure Cignot is going to become the V4L for the 510 users. So much better than those SmartFixx people I ordered from...I don't even think those people spoke English....

I think you will be much happier with the manual batteries than you would have been with the automatics....I got one of each with my first 510 kit, and the auto battery just sits in my stash box now...

I made sure when I ordered my VK, I got it with a manual battery too. It just seems smarter...nothing to gunk up, no cut off and no going off in my pocket! Plus everyone says they are better as well...and you get better vapor off them too apparently. I know I will want lots of vapor.
