Hey there folks

Im new to the ECF forum and its been a fountain of knowledge already.

I actually gave up smoking 2 years ago. Although recently ive really been struggling with not smoking. So i was using a nicorette inhalator and this took off some of the cravings but wasn't really giving me what I needed. Then in my local chemist I noticed a deisposable e-cig which i purchased but was gutted it only lasted 24 hrs so bought another one. As this was staring to work out really expensive decisded to purchase a rechargable e-cig. Thankfully I didnt just settle for the one on amazon and eventually came accross this site. I have now ordered the RIVA 510 and quite excited about its arrival although a little wary about refilling etc. Had a good look on you tube and theres some really good demos on there. the question I have is do I need to buy some wading before I use the Riva or can I use it without, as when I ordered there was no info about purchasing wading ?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Nats X

Congratulations on your success so far!

I have no idea about the Riva, but refilling is easy (in my limited experience). A couple of youtube videos should have you up and going quickly. Both of the kits I've bought so far have cartomizers you can open up and drip the juice into. The filler is already in there, if that's what you mean by wadding.

I agree, that's fantastic, Monster!

It sure is. Not to worry, Monster; there's plenty of e juices for your vaping pleasure out there that you can also order custom-mixed, so you don't have too much fooling around to do. I'd give the site address where I get mine, but that's not allowed, unless mods say otherwise.

Just in case the fluid nicotine level is too strong--I recommend it personally from experience--also add about anywhere from a 10 to 20 ml bottle of pg/vg diluting liquid with your order; be prepared is what I say!

A cartomizer is your best choice

Agreed! I've NEVER had atomizers NOR cartridges and I wouldn't fool with them. There's also a site address where I get my low-resistance cartomizers, but agagin won't post without permission.

And hello, Monster from one ECF noob to another.

Pickup a 15 pack of Boge LR (2.0 ohm) cartomizers from crystalclearvaping.com for $20 and free shipping. You'll thank me later. I hate the atomizers that come with the riva kit, they are ok for testing juices, but they drop in performance SO quickly.

Also get a 510 drip tip or two if you haven't already, driptips are very important. They are used to drip onto atomizers (cartridges suck), and are used as mouthpieces on cartomizers. They are only like two dollars.

*EDIT*
I'm dumb and forgot, the boge 15 pack from CCV comes with driptips. Also comes with a syringe but I don't use it.

Hello & welcome Nats :)

The Riva is a very good choice :) & no you don't have to buy any wadding - just fill up the cartridges with juice so they are nice & moist . And as others have said, you can also try cartomises with your Riva. The boge ones are brilliant & you can buy them from many UK suppliers.
