Hey everyone! I bought a vaporesso armor pro, single battery 100w mod.. I downgraded from a old sigeli 150w because I wanted something smaller in size but my batteries die very fast.. I use a cleito with the .5 coil running at 60w with 2100mah 18650 batteries, forget brand..

My question is for a single battery mod running 40-80 watts what would be the best or most efficient and long lasting battery for me? Its compatible with 18650, 20700, 21700 batteries..

I'm not smart with vaping technical stuff..

Thank you very much!

21700s would be best for battery life at those wattages BUT you sacrifice stealthyness.

18650s gives you the best choices when looking for mods smaller and more compact BUT you sacrifice battery life.

Since you'll need to bring extra batteries even with 21700s anyways, just get a super stealthy setup with 18650s. There will be a lot more choices at shops and stores to pick from with 18650s > 21700s.

Another great option would be internal battery. Some of these mods can be even smaller than 18650s but make sure you'll be around a power source w/ USB power.

I am VERY bad at suggesting the correct battery for the correct application. Someone expert will be along I'm quite sure.

However, I would suggest ordering online, not your vape shop. There are too many counterfeits out and about and the only way to be sure is to buy from known legitimate battery vendors. You can find a list of them in this blog and much more Battery expertise Here:

I bought a new mod, I used to have a 150w 2 battery mod, downgraded to a single battery 100w mod, dont care about stealth, it's just for nicotine juice..

Just wanted to find the best battery my mod can take.. capacity, efficiency.. I just dont know much about the technical jargin...

I have 4 batteries from before that I'm using, they just die fast.. they are 2100mah I think Sony not sure... got then a couple years ago

If they die fast at 40-80w, you should buy new batteries.

I'm a daily vaper. A single 18650 would last me 1/3 of a day sub ohming. I use good batteries (Sony, LG, Samsung) and they're in top notch condition. Batteries are everything.

I'm happy with the Samsung 40T but at 60w thinking the Samsung 30T would suit you better; both 21700.
I looked into these and it said the 30t is good up to 100w vaping and the 40t is good up to 75w per cell.. I dont go over 65 at all. Would it be better to go with the 30t just for efficiency and sacrifice mah or would you say it would be safe to go for the mah with the 40t if I stay under the 75w per cell

That's exactly what I'm doing lol :p a single battery lasts me probably 2-3 hours of vaping consistently. They are old and I have slacked on them... that's why i want to get some good ones.

I use single coil rtas at 23-30w and get 1.5-2 days from the 40T. IIRC the 30T is better for higher watts. @Skunk! is familiar with these batteries, maybe he can chime in.

Nice! Yeah, the 18650 LG (browns) are great batteries and are plentiful; online or at shops. I don't have any around atm to tell you the mah but they last longer > Sonys or 25Rs.

First of all, when using a regulated mod like yours, coil resistance is irrelevant. Mech mods use Ohm's Law, while regulated mods use Watt's Law. It's the battery amp rating (continuous discharge rate) which determines how many watts can be drained from a single battery. Using two batteries doubles the wattage available, while three batteries triples the wattage available.

Unfortunately, there are no 18650 batteries which have BOTH high amps and high mAh, you must compromize and choose one over the other with a single battery mod. Which is your priority: high wattage settings or long run time per charge? One viable solution is to carry spare charged batteries with you to use when you need them. That's what I do.

WATTAGE PER SINGLE 18650 BATTERY on REGULATED MOD:
(Total wattage doubles using 2 batteries; Triples using 3 batteries.)

-If you use a good quality 15 amp CDR battery like the Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC6, then you are good up to 45 watts per battery; 90 watts using two; 135 watts for three batteries.

-If you use a good quality 20 amp CDR battery like the LG HG2 or Samsung 25R then you are good for 60 watts per battery. If using a 2-battery regulated mod, you're good for 120 watts as you have two batteries. If you are using a 3-battery mod, you're good for 180.

-If you use a single 25 amp CDR battery like the Sony VTC5A, then you are good for 75 watts per battery, 150 watts for two batteries, and 225 watts with three.

-If you use a single 30 amp CDR battery like the LG HB6 you are good up to 90 watts; with a pair of 30 amp CDR batteries you could safely do 180 watts.

Another solution would be to get an Innokin MVP4. It has a 4500 mah internal battery which should last at least a day at your wattage settings and is still relatively pocket-friendly.
