I guess I might still be a newb. I quit (mostly) smoking back in may and have been vaping nearly exclusively since. From a pack a day+ to next to nothing overnight is pretty good.
The only real cramp on my vaping has been when I'm on the road, sometimes for weeks at a time (I'm sysadmin by day, music photographer by night and vacation-time) and since I've only been at it a couple months I don't /quite/ have the hardware collection to go for say, 10 days without access to a power outlet to charge from (I'm working on fixing that, though).
I went into this knowing absolutely nothing. Kept seeing ads for Blu on various websites and decided to give it a try. I was..underwhelmed with their product but saw their potential and started digging a little. Ended up with a set of 3-piece automatics from Halo (I still liked the batteries that were more "cigarette like" and I liked the PCC.
Then the madness began. My officemate (who I got started after I did) found a shop in Warminster, PA (Hi VaporPhoxxe!) and got turned on to the eGo. I followed shortly after my experiments with dripping led to yet /another/ dead automatic battery (I had no one to tell me it was a bad idea to try). Since I bought my first eGo set I've gone on to:
1) Quest for the perfect, relatively low maintenance delivery system (without paying hundreds for a mod). I decided early on that I greatly disliked cartridges (even with blue foam). I tried cartos and found the filling process a little annoying (especially when mixed with the "not quite knowing they're empty"). Tried clearos until they disintigrated, and eventually went to visit VaporPhoxxe myself, learned about, and bought a mega-tank addy and some tanks. Finally found the frustration free vape I was looking for!
Of course...with that quest being essentially over I needed a new one to fill my time.(I decided that if I was gonna do this I might as well make it a hobby).
So now I've gone completely off the deep end and started experimenting with making my own juice. Its a lot more fun than I initially thought it would be
Anyway, I've been lurking here for quite some time and figured it was high time I actually started contributing in some small way to the community...so hi!
