The 510-T is a different animal from the eGo-T. The early reports are the 510-T works a good deal better than the eGo-T; I just ordered some 510-T atomizers and should have them in a day or two, so I can see for myself.

Yes, the 510-T atomizer *should* work with the eGo battery; they're almost the same size and exactly the same thread as the original 510, so it'll work with any 510 batteries or mods.

While we're on the subject, I'm a big fan of the simple mods; MadVapes has quite a few reasonably priced box mods if you don't feel comfortable building one yourself. The 14500 batteries last me nearly all day, and they're cheaper than $10 - $15 to replace an eGo battery. They also have a new e-Power mod, which is eGo-sized with a replaceable battery.

Having used an 801, a 901 and currently the 510? The 510-T is a good starting point. Just be aware that the wee batteries included are gonna need a lot of recharging . . .

Thanks Nash,

yeah i've got an ego and ego t, found the first one on craigs list, didnt know about ECF then. they were calling it a K-EGO or EGO K, some weird name, then i got the ego - t, ..ego K, is better but not by much, smaller battery, and still a few problems, and tiny cartridges wtih filler. something tells me its going to take alot for me to hate the IGO, which coming tomorrow i hope...because if it doesnt , i fear i'll be buying a pack of smokes.

Kanga, want to know what i'd buy if i had the money?, this is what i'd buy, like oh my gaaaaaa': YouTube - MINI GLV2 FROM GREATLAKESVAPOR.COM REVIEW

they have it in a bigger size and an even smaller size. i think its adorable, and you can customize it different colors etc. But I dont think i'd be quite ready to smoke it in public, or walk by a cop shop..

ahhh love it but they are out of stock!... random question... why are there some sites where there is no shipping from april 14 to april 17th?

I don't know for sure but, most of those businesses are very small operations and they must inventory everything for the IRS. If you've ever worked any time in retail here, you've been involved in that at one time or another. They are probably counting things.

Yeah, the eGo-T was great when it first came out. Then you started hearing about leaks, floods, poor flavor, wick placement problems, etc. The CE-2s were great then you started hearing about leaks, cracking and difficulty filling. Last I heard they were up to version 5 of these things. Now the 510-Ts are great. I wonder what the flavor will be next month. :)

I'm certain somebody is going to get this right eventually but, I'll wait to be certain before I buy one.

I'm with ya on that one! I have cussed and cussed myself for buying this damn ego-t. It wastes ALL my freaking delicious PinkSpot juice everywhere! Hell, my Kr8's are better and My Riva is awesome with an LR (which I don't have right now :() But I went and bought a Vaprlife Pearl -- expensive! Looks great, want it to be great, but all I get is burnt atty. ....

My 510-T atomizers arrived today; I've used them all day, moderate vaping. Blew out the primer when it arrived, re-primed with three drops. No leaks, good flavor, good vapor production. Draw's about the same as a 510 filler cart. Holds about 12 or so drops. They last me an hour before I have to refill it; if you're gonna travel, pre-fill some spares.

Initial impression? Really good. We'll see how it behaves a week from now, but I'm pleased with it. It's a lot more convenient and I can actually *see* when I'm running low. But the cart is relatively small; it's possible there's some relation to the smaller cart size working better, or potentially just a re-design between the eGo-T and the 510-T.

As for what a box mod is, it's a double-A battery case that's altered to serve as a battery for an e-cig. I like the unit I got from Madvapes; it's not the most durable unit, but it's been very reliable. The 14500 rechargeable batteries for it are relatively inexpensive, and it has a built-in off switch. They run about $25 for just the box itself. Personal prefernce, YMMV.

There are a lot of other box mods around with a dizzying array of features. The 14500 is about the size of a AA but, it's not the same. More than double the voltage for one thing. There is a box mod you can build called a puck that uses rechargeable AA batteries. Look for it in the modders forum.

oh yeah Ive been looking into getting the 510-t, I understand how the e-cig itself works, but i get confused when it comes to the ejuice and mixing and what not

Hello and welcome!

I have the ego-T and love it. I have had no problems so far and its so easy. I just ordered the 510-T atty and tanks and can't wait to try it as well...need to use all the 510 batteries I bought initially :(. I think the 510-T is probably a good start. You will probably tire of the short battery life though.

I started with the KR808 but quickly learned I hate the filler in the cartomizers. Then went to 510 batts and dripping. I still like dripping, think its the best way to go for flavor and vapor but it's a pain especially when not at home - so the ego-T has been the perfect compromise for me so far but as you can see I'm still buying stuff:blush:. Anyway, good luck!
