Nifty job, Jeff!
I may be just unobservant, but I don't believe I've ever seen an actual smoking pipe (other than wretched Chinese-made pseudo-pipes) modded into a
vaping device. Used pipes, mediocre or beyond hope of restoration, are freely available on eBay, usually for very little and less than those Chinese jobbies. And, since they're real pipes, they'd obviously look much more like real pipes.
But here's one from my collection that I'd
never mod:
It's a 1925 Dunhill shell briar panel billiard that came to me in nearly perfect condition, having only been smoked a few times by its original owner 85 years ago. I actually had to break it in!
Here's another one I'd never mod, a 1937 Peterson half-bent:
That all-day sucker is nine inches long.
Lots of room for batteries and such.
