Try to adjust your draw, don't draw as fast or hard. I found that helps. The longer, easier draw does not pull up as much juice. They do need to be wet but you might be running them a little to wet also.

I used a pyrex drip tip on mine and really didn't have the spitting problem on the long barrel. The short barrel were a little more of a challenge.

If you're getting too much juice in the mouth and not much vapor, my guess is that your atty is flooded. You may want to remove your atty, hold it with the drip tip end in a paper towel and blow through the connector end....it will take a few blows to get the excess juice out. Then when you've got most of it out, wipe it down and put it back on your mod. Don't re-juice it. Just vape it and see where you're at. If it feels a little dry, the add a little juice to it. As much as I love these, they can be a bit finicky.

Not to hijack alex's thread but I am unable to feed my 357 2.5 long barrel via squonking. If I drip it works fine I think - it's still in break-in period so not much vapor or taste. When I blind squonk, it's like sucking air thru a straw. My other attys and cartos work just fine so I know it's not the feed tube. It fires on fine - I just can't seem to get juice in it by squonking.

I have an email into Hanna and I'm waiting to hear back from him.

Every now and then that happens to me no matter what I'm using. I unscrew my Atty a half turn and if that doesn't help I unscrew the bottle and screw it back on then it seems to fees fine. I think something just gets weird with suction or something.

Alex, I'm pretty sure it's this 357 because other attys and cartos are feeding just fine. When I noticed it wasn't feeding I unscrewed it a bit and still no go. I then took it off and put it back on and still not feeding it. I then tried another atty and the juice squonked into the atty just fine. Tried a carto and the juice squonked into it just fine.

This is my first ever hh357.

Ya...I love them. I've had 3 so far...and they were stellar for me. However, I can't afford to buy them...so I don't.

Ah then I have no clue. This is also my first and I hope it quits spitting if I wanted to drink juice I would have bought a straw. But rhap I did try that and some better vapor. I think I just need to get the squonk down for this Atty.

Ya...they don't take much. If you are doing the blind squonk...just a "kiss" will do it. They just don't vape like other atties, so it takes some fine tuning of your technique.

Well don't worry about the 15 minutes, it took me 15 days to get the hang of them :)

Squonk less and draw lighter. They give no feedback for me on how much juice you push up in them.
So I just give a tiny tiny squonk and try a hit if it needs more repeat.

If you actually felt juice when you were squonking you've gone too far IMHO.

I believe they are the best atomizer out there but they are finicky with a bottom feeder.

That said, I will never buy another one. The Cisco Bridgless 306 or 510 is 95% as good for 1/3 the price and easier to use.

I've used HH. 357 on my REOs exclusively since last September. Nothing beats them for flavor. Vapor is excellent too as long as the coil is fairly clean. As they get crusted the flavor stays but the vapor volume diminishes. That's usually my clue to clean the coil.

The spitting is rather hit or miss when they are new. 1 of 3 seems to spit for a few days. A drip tip with a wide mouth helps. I recommend the Cherry Vape Universal. I've never had one not stop spitting eventually, so hang in there.

Now that I have HH squonking ingrained in my subconscious, they are lasting me 3-4 months and counting. I can't seem to kill them. Keeping them wet makes a huge difference in longevity. Less is more in squonking and quitting just before you get the resistance is the right amount.

Sashwa, I game up on the long barrels because they seemed to autofeed too often on my REO. They were also a pain to clean. A Universal drip tip on a shorty is long enough to never worry about juice in the mouth. I didn't find they vaped any better than the shorties, but there are people on ECF that prefer them. Not sure if they are using REOs.

juicey, I have a Trippy Tip donut drip tip that I got to use on these. I wanted the long barrel to deter the spitting but so far no spitting at all. But because I can't get the reo to feed it, I've only been dripping on it.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Hanna about mine. I think some how the bottom is plugged because if I put a drop of juice on the hole at then of the threaded area it just stays there and I can't blow it through.

Edit: Heard back from Hanna and he is having me send the 357 back and he will send me a replacement.

Try tapping it forcefully on a hard surface, connector end down, several times. It makes the internal mesh settle more compactly towards the bottom and may resolve your spitting issues.

yeah its weird. i opened up my second one and nearly no spitting. not sure whats going on here but i ordered some cisco spec 510's theyve never let me down.

Did you try the tapping/tamping method on the spitter?

Sashwa and Alexander....I bought two 357's a while back, had all the same issues, no matter what I tried, so I put them in the
" no-go' pile. About a week ao I got them back out, blew them out, tried very hard not to squonk too much ( they make a different noise, more gutteral, when you listen as you're squonking), then tried to vape sorta long and gently as apposed to
the regular atties....and it worked!!!! I think, at least from my limited experience, that they really do need a break-in period,
and a patient learning curve.
Just my 1 cent.
