There actually is a difference Roger. The cherry vape cannon tip have a much bigger opening farther up the tube and it makes the atomizer behave better IMO. They take some getting used to the big end in your mouth though.
Both with 510 and 306 the size/shape/length of the hole/tube makes a difference.
I could care less what they look like, I just find ones that give me the draw and performance I like.

No problem, I didn't believe it myself at first. It matters more with 306 because your changing the whole atomizer design.
With a 510 you still have the standard tube giving most of the characteristics but the tips still can change it up a bit.
There are some really nice 306 tips out there, and I own quite a few, but for whatever reason I constantly use the little clear one that I got from some vendors clearance bin last year for a quarter.
