Man, I got this HH357 1.5Ω in a couple days ago. I haven't been exclusively vaping with it. I've stuck it on my Reo Grand (18650 3.7v batts) and I'm just not getting the flavor I've been expecting. So far it's been LESS than the flavor I'm getting with my Stardusts, and that's pretty bad - the Phoenixes I have blow the Stardust away. The juice I'm using is a 70/30 PG/VG blend, it's called Pineapple Shake from KBV. It's got some Koolada in it, and that really makes the juice, but I'm not getting a HINT of it with the 357 so far. It's just an anemic vape, aside from the good vapor. I've hit it slow and long (which Hanna says isn't really that good), I've done sharp and short (and I end up with juice all up in my mouth) and I just don't know what else to try. I know there's a break in period..but how long is it lol. I haven't been able to just exclusively vape with it because I've been having cravings for cigs which hasn't happened to me since I started vaping. Every once in awhile, I'll get just this awesome hit that I heard I would get but 99% of the time..it's just been pretty awful. What can I do?

As I was looking over this post, I was trying again and finally got a little hit of that Koolada. Maybe now that I've made this post it's finally starting to break in, haha! I'd still like to hear opinions from more experienced 357 users.

If you look at Hanna's video on the avidvaper website, he states that peak performace is gained after a WEEK. I thought that seemed kind of a long time, but apparently he knows what he's talking about.

I just got an HH357 last saturday. My first impression was that it seemed rather mediocre. Days 2, 3 and 4 I noticed a steady gain in performance (flavor). Now, just about a week later, and a good cleaning in vodka, I'm having the most impressive vape of Bobas Bounty that I've ever tasted. A real power house in flavor, clean and intense. Give it a week of steady vaping and see what happens.

Mine took a little over three days of solid vaping (2.5ohm-w/60-40 pg/vg @4.2v) before it broke in and the best flavor came through. The flavor is the best I've had from any other atty. I use avids straight drip shield and always take a dry hit before firing to help pull juice out of the shield up into the mesh. This has been working great for me going on three weeks now. I'm pretty much a chain vaper and my atties and carts usually take a beating. Love my HH357

Well, I'm ashamed to say that I finally found the reason for the muted flavor..I've only had my Reo Grand for a short amount of time and I believe I was over-squonking or something. I took off my 357, blew it out and TONS of juice came out. I did manage to suck some of it up into a syringe, but I mean I am flabbergasted that the amount of juice that came out never leaked into my reservoir cup..very impressed by it too ha! So after blowing it out and using a gentler squonking method, I'm getting the performance out of this atty that I was hoping for. It's outta dis world now!
