Hey all. I literally have not used an atomizer since I first began vaping, but I've been mauling over the idea of getting an HH357 for a while now. I've finally got one coming in tomorrow and I plan to use it mostly for testing DIY juices and some occasional dripping. I've heard flavor swapping with these isn't much of a problem and apparently some people (read: PBusardo) just blow out the excess juice and then dry burn for a second. In your experience, have you been able to do this? What about strong flavors like menthol or dark juices?

Just want to make sure I'm properly prepared. These things certainly aren't cheap so I don't want to ruin it.

Thanks!

DONT dry burn EVER. i have 5 357s, one of them is fantastic. the other ones not so much. i had a brand new one custom for vg only from vapercon and it doesnt produce vapor or throat hit at all. really makes me mad. but i do have 2 that work very well. id highly recommend to never use rubbing alcohol. i use gin or vodka and it never affects flavor after cleaning. anytime ive used rubbing alcohol, it tainted the flavor for much more then just the first 3 or 4 drags after cleaning.

I drop a small amount of baking soda in the top, then drop vinegar in there. immediately cover the top with my thumb and let it run out the bottom. I keep dropping vinegar in until all the baking soda is gone. rinse with water, then let dry. get's rid of all previous flavor. so far this method has been working great, and I don't see any performance drop in the atty.

I also have a 357, in 901. Lemon juice? That sounds like a great idea. Is it better than boiling? Baking soda as in powdered?

ya, sorry I meant vinegar (corrected OP). you put a dash of baking soda powder in the top of the atty. then drip vinegar in. it will start to foam over immediately. I put my thumb over the top of the atty, so to force the mix out the bottom. Once the foam goes down I repeat the vinegar/thumb action until it stops foaming altogether (meaning the baking soda is gone). then I rinse well, and let dry.
