HHV - Mail just arrived here in Sydney Australia!

Gandalf
Dark Horse
Cinful Pear
Pirate's Booty

Filled up a brand new Vivi with each. Puffing away on Gandalf!

It's already sheer bliss! I wonder what 2 weeks of steeping will do to it!

I have to say - Chocolate is very strong in this one!

Normally avoid chocolate vapes but glad to have listened to the voices on here and to have given it a shot!

First vendor though to have not included ANY samples... Shame... I bet there are some hidden gems I missed!

Yeah - I am sure I will try many more.

The juice is great! Was just a bit dissapointed with the presentation of the product. The bottles, lables, plain ugly yellow envelope and lack of any samples or note. (even a 1.5ml sample would have been something to make me smile and feel *special*warm*fuzzy*

But I guess all that doesn't matter once the delicious juice is in the tank.

It just misses the opportunity to wow the customer from the moment it arrives and even though the product is fabulous it won't be as exciting to receive as a fanceejuice or aliceinvapeland delivery. The appearance just lacks love and care. But the product definatly not. Its fantastic.

It's just that we vapers tend to turn into little kids at christmas when we finally receive our deliveries - especially when we have to wait around 2 weeks if you live in Australia like me - and the little things make ALL the difference!

Happy for ya! I too, just getting home tonight, am sampling my HHV juices, some new, some I reordered of course.

I don't know if they normally send a handwritten note like some vendors, but they are SWAMPED now with all the well deserved hype from us fanatics and their recent awards.

Dark Horse is actually what I am dripping now. Normally dont drip as I am still to find a system that works for me. Grrrrrrr.... No luck with that. Probably me not the equipment...

I have to say that Dark Horse feels and tastes the most like a real cigarette to me out of all things I have ever tried. I think that will be my pub vape (at least a clearo of it in my pocket while I enjoy I desert/fruit vape).

It is strange - it also seems to give me that calm/relaxed feeling like a cigarette does. Might just be my mind associating the tobacco flavour with a regular cigarette (I usually do not smoke tobacco flavours - strange - its all that I thought I'd be smoking when I quit analogues - all tobacco until I tried these HHV were terrible in my opinion).

I can see myself smoke Gandalf and Dark Horse regulary though - maybe not an all day vape - but as a backup when I need break from the fruit/dessert.

Great products. But I am a little concerned about NET. I wonder if they contain other harmful components which I do not get with natrual fruit flavours etc.

Does anyone know what else is contained in the final extracted product (NET) or is it really just the flavour? I am very curious about that and would love to read some factual studies and analasys!

Heather's makes great juice, but I think they keep their prices so low because they are sort of "no frills" when it comes to packaging and presentation. Yeah, you'll get pure gold in every bottle you order from HHV, but it comes in a package that looks more like electroplate... ;-)

If you want great juice in spiffy bottles and fantastic packaging with freebies in almost every box, and a vapemail experience that is like Christmas and your best birthday party ever with every order, get some juice from Alice in Vapeland. They have the best presentation in vaping. Every order is like a little party in a box...

Didn't like Gandalf or any of the other tobacco flavors (too much swisher sweet reminder for me) but I loved her Oompa. I have 60ml on the way. Oompa is her chocolate/tobacco blend. I think her chocolate flavors are the best honestly. Not a fan of the pipe tobacco taste of Gandalf, Darkhorse, Hunstman etc but Oompa really worked well for me. I liked it so much I ordered her powderkeg and clockwork orange in 6ml because they are mainly chocolate base. From what I've read, chocolate seems to be the base of most of her flavors. Didn't think I would take to chocolate flavor. I only added Oompa to my sample order at the last moment to fill the order. But of the 8 samples I tried from her, it was the only one I really liked.

Alegria, all their overseas shipments are like that, to avoid customs interference. Also, names like "Heavenly Tobacco" are shortened to "Heavenly T" It is done as a courtesy for customers in counties where liquid shipments can get seized.

Gandalf is in one of my Vivi's now. Giving it some time to steep once that is done. It is a nice but unusual flavor. I never smoked a pipe and the pipe tobacco is very prominent. I can't tell you if I love it or just like it yet. Wouldn't be fair to make up my mind until it has steeped for a while. Definatly nice though.

Its just hard to judge Tobacco if you only smoked dessert/fruit flavors for months.

It affects me though. It relaxes and satisfies me more than fruit. At the same time I cannot chain vape it like fruit/dessert which is probably a good thing.

I am however concerned that the tobacco flavor will make me crave cigarettes again after months without craving as it is also the smell of cigarettes/tobacco that puts me off these days.

We will see. I recon it would have made things easier in the beginning if I had wonderful tobacco flavours like these to quit the analogues.

Then again - I went from 40 cigarettes a day to nil from the moment I had my first drag of vape and that was on terrible cheap chinese tobacco's. I think thats what put me off the whole tobacco thing to start with.

Oh - that makes sense! Thank you so much for clarifying this. I have to admit I was dissapointed at first but at least that shows HHV have the best intentions by shipping this way.

Still - AiV and FJ as well as others provide the same packaging to us Aussies and I have NEVER had problems with customs etc.

Even labled as nicotine they should have no problem to arrive here as it is perfectly legal to import for personal use in reasonable amounts.

But I do understand their caution and thought process now after your clarifications.

And don't get me wrong - I do not critisise their product - it is fabulous - I was just extremely dissapointed with the presentation and packaging.

This is just honest and - I hope - constructive feedback - and should not discourage ANYONE from ordering from this fantastic vendor.

The product is solid and deliverytime fast as! Ordered on the 1st and arrived today! Incredibly fast!

Yes most tobaccos are crap. So far I've only liked (did I say like, I meant LOVED) HHV NETs and Vermillion River for tobacco. I kind of liked MOV RY4 and 555, but will reevaluate after a good steeping. I have their NET Virginia Flak on its way as well, and AIVs new NET Ravyn coming soon as well. Hopefully I dig them all. I do have a flue cured tobacco, not sure who makes it, that is decent but my wife really likes it as it is the most cig a like flavor to both of us.

RAVYN - Ooooooooh - I can't wait for mine either.

I hope it is not just their version of Gandalf (Legend) or Bobba. I hope it is something completely unique!

I am almost confident it will be - they don't copy other vendors creations - they create their own.

I am really intrigued to read the reviews here as it will take a few weeks to arrive here in Australia.

Has anyone gotten their shipping confirmation for AiV yet?

Best tobacco flavors to me are ones that are a subtle mix with something else or just kind of stale generic typical analog taste. Like the oompa as a subtle chocolate/tobbac blend or something like Gamel from AV or even Freedom from SI. If it tastes like some swisher sweet shoved in a pipe mixed with some grass it doesn't taste very good to me (HHV tobacco flavors to me). Or like smelling a fresh pack of cigarettes and inhaling the fresh generic pack of cigarette smell rather than smoking it (AV tobacco flavors like C&D, Blend 4 or their 555 which doesn't taste anything like 555). I've smoked a pipe in the past when I wanted to quit cigs. I've tried cigars. I've smoked swisher sweets when I was a very young and I just don't like that taste for my e-cig. I've criticized both AV and HHV for tobacco flavors (just my honest opinion) and it's obviously not a popular opinion but I'm just being honest as a new person to vaping. I think HHV is a good company. Just hate their tobacco flavors. Haha. Love the Oompa for whatever crazy reason. Tastes are totally subjective.

As for HHV packaging. Think pretty much all of them have no frills packaging. HHV is still working as a smaller operation I think. They are very popular but their popularity is more than they are even capable of at this point I think.

Maybe they should do it like Ahlusion and other juice makers and only accept a certain number of orders per day until their online store 'closes'.

Stops people from whinging about delivery delays (read several on here - all unfounded as they clearly state the shipping delays at checkout - but would at least be consistent that way) and also allow them to ship and present the product to a higher standard.

Just a thought and my opinion and I do understand the various downsides to that solution.

I think they have to decide if they want to have a mass-product or become a boutique vendor like AiV or FJ.

Due to the incredible standard of their product they have both options available to them. But I believe they should tread one road comfortably instead of trying to satisfy both end of the consumer spectrum.

But as I said - thats just my opinion.

well i guess if you don't mind the prices of fancee or alice then all the fancy stuff and extras are great but heather and adam want to keep things inexpensive for more folks to afford having the experience of high quality juice --- yes it is a trade off but i kind of like the no-frills attitude they have -- means i can afford more of their juice -- just being honest here

actually you might want to try goodejuice home brewed line and check out the natural tobacco thread

ohhh and you just get flavor with nets -- the affect must be psychological -- well the info is around here somewhere

The price difference is minimal and not even worth mentioning for me.

A pack of smokes here costs $20.00 - I don't feel it matters.

In general what ever product I buy I prefer the one I get the biggest satisfaction from overall.

HHV is still in the same bracket as AiV or FJ price wise. They prices are still in a simillar range and definatly not No Frills.

I get the same packaging but faster shipping and better communication from other vendors. That is not to say the product at HHV is excellent - but I do know I expected more but that might just be because it is hard to keep up with vendors like AiV and FJ overall - all put into account. The are just on top of their game but that doesnt mean others are bad or won't get my business. Different vendors for different things - some things just dont compare and not everyone is a winner overall....
