HHVS veterans! Help me please

I'm placing my first order with HHVS and I'm not sure what ratio of pg/vg to get. I ve been getting juice where I don't have the choice in that matter. Been vaping mostly 50/50 blends on tobacco flavors and I think 60/40 on fruity flavors or chit was it 40/60? Ugh .. Why don't they just they use the best ratio? I think vg is supposed to give you more vapor and pg is more flavor and throat hit right? I've never had 100% vg.. I hear it is very thick and can be heavy in your chest. I hear people have a lot of sensitivities to high pg.. Ugh so difficult and confusing. btw my setup is a Provari mini with carto/tank. Tx for your replies. Happy vaping from Las Vegas!

There's not really a "best". You kind of have to just play around with it and see what works best for you. Who is HHVS?

Their high VG is a lot thinner than a lot of vendors high VG.

Pretty sure that may have been sarcasm anyway...I agree. It's all personal preference. 70/30 pg/vg seems to be commonplace.

You actually know quite a bit, pg better flavor carrier and TH, vg better vapor and better for people with allergies to pg. vg is thicker and can cause issues with wicking, etc. personally I tend to go with 60/40 pg to vg, or 70/30, as I don't like a lot of TH, and love me some vapor and want as much flavor as possible. These are also often ratios used on some sites I've been on when "trust the experts" is an option but at the same time tell you what the ratio is (many don't though of course. But as GT said, you really need to figure out what works best or at least good enough, for you.

Hi Carbon .. I'm like you I want a lot of flavor and vapor and not too heavy a throat hit ( def want some throat hit tho) I think I will try 70/30 first then adjust from there I guess. Btw does changing the ratio change the flavor a lot?

No sarcasm, just wanted to be sure. There's juice vendors out there I've never heard of still.

Not really with HHV juice. They specialize in high VG and know how to pack the flavor in.

When you get the samples from HHV, they come in the 70/30 ratio. Just my thought only but since they send them out at that ratio and I have no allergies, I just order all mine at what I started with.

It's really hard to figure out, I know, you will though.

Dragon's Fire is a exotic honey type tobacco and Shadow is a creamy vanilla tobacco.

I'm into the fruity flavors right now and looking for a good coffee flavor .. That's what led me to HHVs I heard good things about the mocha java smooth also I'm a big Pbusardo fan and saw his review. Also saw a guy on Utube.. Said the fruity flavors were the "juiciest hrs ever had" .. Made me really want to try their juice. tx for the info

I was exclusively vaping a menthol tobacco flavor (subzero) from Pinkspot .. When I started I only could tolerate this one flavor from them. Then one day .. Bam! It tasted like crap! Kind of chemically and soapy and just plain gross. I was in such a panic as I had 5 bottles of 30 I just ordered from them!!! I went to their store and they tested all the bottles several times by 5 different people and all said it was fine. It was me .. I had developed vapor tongue! Tasted their other tobacco flavors and everything tasted like crap to me .. Bought some fruity flavors which were pretty good but not loving those either right now. I think my tastebuds and tongue are broken right now I'm frustrated and sad .. Vaping on ....ty tasting juice sucks .. First time today in over two months I wanted my old analogs back. But I won't do it .. I've come too far but was thinking about it.
