Hi everybody! Been lurking for a few weeks decided to finally join. Been vaping off and on since 2012, ex smoker of 25+ years. My old vintage gear is worn out and found y’all researching the latest and greatest gear.
The latest is imho not the greatest. As far as I can tell the pinochle was around 2015. A lot of that stuff is still made though. What kind of system are you looking for? How do you want it to behave?

I’ve been using an aspire mini nautilus kit. 1.6 ohm coils. Nobody local sells them anymore so I started researching newer stuff, in the meantime my tank exploded falling off a window sill catching a breeze haha. Dug out an old school Innokin gladious and found a barely used coil so was getting me by. Those coils can’t be found local either so on borrowed time, getting the job done tho. Started researching pods is what I meant by newest stuff.

Rebuildables are a ton cheaper than cartridge coils because everything is a commodity item. You rewick with no joke, pieces of cotton ball. One cotton ball is good for about 3 rewick. The coil itself in a cartridge coil doesn’t generally burn up. Just the wick. The downside is they’re messier and More like a pipe than a cigarette fiddlyness wise. You do this and DIY your juice and you can cut your monthly costs by something like 80%. Just get a rebuildable atty for your old mod and screw it on.

Thanks for the info. I bought a rebuildable once back in the day but it was tankless. Hated it just for that reason tho. Was way too much constant fiddling. Will look into the current rebuildables and would love to make my own juices one day.

Ah. An rda. There are rtas too. I squonk myself, which is an RDA with a squonk pin and a silicon bladder below it to hold the juice which you occasionally squirt in when it gets low. That requires a squonk mod though and yours isn’t. Making juice is either better than store bought or vastly cheaper. Both at the same time is difficult to arrange. Me I go the cheapass single flavor route because it’s simple and doesn’t require complicated measurement

I can help you with some Nautilus Mini tanks if you're located in the US. A longtime neighbor friend, who passed away last year...had more than a dozen Nautilus tanks (regular size and mini) some new in the box and some used. His wife asked if I would her help find new homes for his vaping gear because she knew nothing about any of it. So, if you'd like me to send you a message about them...just let me know.

By the way, the Nautilus 1.6ohm coils can still be bought online for about $8.65 per box.

I can do some searching for the Innokin coils online, if you're interested in them. I usually have good luck finding "hard-to-find" vape supplies. I know I've seen them for sale on 1-2 websites in the last 3-4 months or so.

Also, the coils for the Innokin iClear12 clearomizer also work in the Innokin Gladius. I'll search online for those, too.
