I'd recommend the easiest set up possible for someone older and unfamiliar with electronic cigarettes.

I'd love to recommend something other than a juul but most are flawed...The Vuse Alto was promising but the quality of their pods went south and it became almost unusable.

So the juul basically remains the easiest, most readily available system out there...with some caveats, of course.

However if you think he's down for a more hands on approach....the uwell Caliburn is a pretty simple refillable pod system.

Depending where your located, I'd probably suggest the Logic Pro if you in the UK. It's a simple pen system, uses disposable cartridge inserts that are available in most newsagents, petrol stations and supermarkets, and the actual pen system costs less than £10 with the cartridges costing about £4-5 for a pack of three. It's not the best system by a far stretch, but it's cheap and easy to use.

Hello everyone, my name is zoe, I am 25 years old, my grandfather is 65 years old. I used to rarely go to the forum, but now want to know more about e-cigarettes here, so I can give some advice about e-cigs to my grandfather, who has been smoking for decades. Not sure if he can accept e-cigarettes, just want to try, maybe the damage of e-cigarettes is smaller.
Is it necessary to start with the pod , or the low-power mod for a new vaper?
Welcome and glad you joined.
To prevent any disappointment, suggest you see if your grandfather is open to your thinking. No use you investing in a solution only to find that your love one is not on the same page. If you find any resistance or negatives response, it might be wise to immediately back off the subject and report back to the forum. Suggest you re post question/results in:
General Vaping Discussion
and spell out the issue(s)/reaction(s).
maybe the damage of e-cigarettes is smaller.
