You had to look up the eleaf istick mod, Where ya been? LolI looked up your mod... nice little mod with decent built-in battery and 40 watts is plenty for MTL tanks. Keep in mind it's only 22mm wide so larger tanks will "overhang". I haven't tried one, but many people here recommend the Innokin Zlide. Zenith is also good but larger diameter. Learn how to prime coils (and do "primer puffs") Don't have time to explain right now. Also, learn about VG/PG ratios of juices.
just have them look in the "picture of your set up" thread, I see tons of tube mods with massive tank overhangs.....overhangs are in .OK folks... they are both good tanksLet's don't turn this thread into a debate (there are already discussions about that)
My little mod is also 22mm wide and I also chose a 24mm tank (RTA) because I wanted it... me and OP will have to live with overhang.
You don't have to, but it doesn't hurt to "break in" your coil at slightly lower watts. With the 0.8 ohm coils I would start around 14 watts and end up around 18 watts max. Airflow is up to the user... just don't close it all the way.
Loli, do you have juice picked out yet?
Just to see how wide it wasYou had to look up the eleaf istick mod, Where ya been? Lol
That's what she saidoverhangs are in .
Ok I feel stupid now.Just to see how wide it was![]()

Ordered the Zetnith tank with 1.6 coil and 0.8 coil according to all of your recommendations, can not wait till I receive it... It’s such a shame that we don’t have a shop to go to and get the gear. So for a novice, it’s very hard and costly as we don’t know what to buy! Online shops won’t tell you’re buying the wrong tank for the mod you are buying... I ended up with a Uwell Crown 3 tank with the Eleaf Istick 40w mod!!! Massive disappointment as the Uwell required way higher wattage. Now stacked with a tank and coils I will never use... ($55). Beginners lessons I guess. CheersBefore using, prime your coil (put a few drops down the top hole) Then fill tank with juice and wait 10 minutes. Between puffs, do "primer puffs" (draw air without firing) This may all be overkill, but will keep your coil wick saturated and prevent "scorched" taste. Don't do really long puffs amd let coil cool a bit between puffs. Once again, overkill, but doing these things will double the life of your coils. I can't afford to constantly replace coils so have become OCD about this. Besides that, it depends on the juice (VG/PG ratio... how thick it is) sweetness and some flavors. I vape about 4 ml a day (doing MTL) and get about a week or two from a coil. Don't push the coils beyond the rated wattage! Personally, I like 65VG/35PG juices but 70VG30PG is fine. 80VG/20PG is a bit thick and works better with different coils/tanks.
BTW, I have an Innokin T20 S tank and don't like it because of not enough airflow... I had to drill the holes bigger. Once I did this, I liked the coils much better. I use the 0.8 ohm most.

Not true... some day you might find a more powerful mod on clearance sale and finally use that tank (I am a very good bargain hunter) BTW, get extra coils for the Zenith if you didn't. Even if you won't need them for awhile, when the day comes that you do and have none... well, you know. Now stacked with a tank and coils I will never use... ($55). Beginners lessons I guess. Cheers
