Just a hello from Boston... been vaping for a few weeks now. I've managed to almost completely eliminate regular cigs altogether. One or 2 a day, but I'm getting more and more disgusted by the taste which is a great sign...

Unabashedly hoping to hit the thread requirement so I can begin ask replying to threads and ask a few questions about a few devices I've seen available and am interested in...

Fellow Bostonian here. I started vaping about 5 months or so ago and with the right equipment and liquids I was able to go cold turkey. Last cig on the day I picked up my vaping gear. Good luck!

Hi All! Great to see some local people!
I have to say Boston seems a little behind the curve on vaping, people still look at you like a 7 headed hydra vaping in public in certain parts of the city. I've only found one real vape shop in the area so far as well ... Eastern Vapor haven't checked them out yet, but thinking about taking a drive out there. Anyone been in, and if so how are the staff?

As far as questions it's really just one for now...

the clearomizer I was looking at is brand new and I've only found 2 noob reviews on youtube so I couldn't really get a feel for any pros and cons... Not sure if anyone on here has had a whack at it yet... but if anyone has - Any opinions on the joyetech Ego-CC Clearomizer?

I've got an EVOD tank and although it performs great - excellent vapor and TH - the flavor is really, REALLY bland. I've tried all my juices out of it (including some really bold ones) and they always taste boring on it.

I use an Ego-C and an E-Cab (with the tank system) as well, and am surprised how much less muted the flavor is as opposed to the Evod.

Unfortuntely the Ego-C / can be prone to dry hitting or clogging with thick juices so I was wondering if this clearo performs any better than Ego tank systems?
And if it's still prone to clogging or dry hitting comparatively?

Welcome! I'm from Worcester, and there really aren't a lot of B&M's around here. One opened up here but checked it out yesterday, and found out its actually part of a chain out of Florida. :/ prices are a little high, but it's nice knowing it's there for emergencies.

I'm about halfway between Boston and Worcester. It is surprising to me that there isn't much in the way of B&M's around here. Always envious when someone posts "Well, there's 5 within a 5 mile radius of me"....... Sigh.

Eastern is a nice shop but EXTREMELY limited in what he carries. Or at least that was the case when I went there. Pretty much just the Ego lineup and a small selection of carto's. If you are going to get into this and evolve from device to device I suggest that you look for a few trusted on-line vendors. I'm 20 minutes outside of the city.

Quick update...

It's been my 3rd day without a cigarette and been relatively painless. I got some Pluid (and a few delicious VapeTrik juices) in the mail and feck! I would rather puff that than a cigarette any day... it made the transition to no smokes a breeze... (and mind you I've smoked for over 20 years.)

Good to know about Eastern. That's kind of what I expected. Might still pop out there sometime just to meet a few fellow peeps in the area...
