I just started vapeing a couple or so weeks ago to quit a 34 year habit . Success . Now as I have always been a tinkerer ( was a tv , VCR computer , automotive, and heavy equipment repairman ) I have been reading nonstop and watching videos of the different aspects and gear in the vapeing community . My big question is I bought a ego ce4 clearomizer and 650mah ego batter from skysmoke shop here in Finland . Only store I could find in anywhere in Finland . Plus they have web site and stores in Latvia . I took the nip off and the silicone cap to wash it and clean it out today . When looking down the tube , it is the disposable type with the long wicks , I was looking for the coil . I took my flashlight and looked and looked and I couldn't see the coil anywhere . The wick looks great after two weeks of constant use but there is no coil wrapped around the wick at all. Press the button to burn off the old juice and stuff and although you here the wick getting hot and see smoke comeing from the tube there is no coil on the wicks . All the videos I have see show a coil you can clearly see wraped around the wicks but not here . I can't find any info or videos on this strang set up . Could the coil be under the wicks ? I don't want to dissect it and pull the thing apart to find it as it's the only one I have right now . But , if it is below the wicks then changeling wicks would be a snap . If anyone has a clue please let me know . Thanks .

Doesn't sound familiar at all. I'd look into getting a VV/VW mod. I was a 43 year smoker myself. I love this it's so fascinating and the equipment so varied and unique. I started on an EGO and now have 6 variable voltage/wattage mods my self. My favorite it the Innokin VTR.

The coil is inside the head in the center tube. You can't see it unless you break it apart AFAIK. The CE4's aren't rebuildable (well, perhaps if you were a major mechanical wiz, but not by mere mortals). If you look at where the wick goes into the tube, the coil is in there.

Great to hear about that . I know I couldn't see it and didn't want to take it completely apart just to find it yet . Might when I get a new one when this one finaly goes out some time . I know this hobbie is awesome will all the things you can do and get for them . Looking forward to getting a mod someday , or one of those e-pipes . I use to sit and read a lot when I smoked my pipe a long time ago . thanks guys
