Hi, Im brand new to modding. Right now I'm just reading and soaking up as much info as I can. All help is appreciated...ok, i was watching a vid of olk2 build where the voltage was changed with a potentometer. would you be able to tell the exact volatge or do you adjust it to your taste. Also, am i correct in assuming the potentometer just "adjusts" the voltage and the okl2 determins the max and min voltage?

The pot adjusts the voltage the OKL2 outputs. If you measure and mark the positions on the pot at intervals with the voltage you can get in the ballpark. Adding a voltmeter to the mod is the sure way to know what voltage is output while adjusting. Assuming you choose a pot that will allow full manufacturer range, yes the board will limit max and min voltage. Some boards can be over driven but it's at your own risk of blowing the board. Specs for the OKL2/T20 are here:

http://power.murata.com/data/power/okl2-t20-w12.pdf

The formula and a reference table for voltage vs pot resistance is in that document. BTW, I would advise including manufacturer recommend input and output filter capacitors on any converter board even though a lot of people dont.
