Call me knob.

Need recomendations on hardware and juice vendor.

I bought starter kit from v2cigs.com and 40 carts took them 7 weeks to complete my order and costed me $185+. Would have started smoking again after 2 weeks if not for other vendors and learning how to refill carts.

Bought assortment juces from freedomusa and e-liquidplanet. Dont care for freedomsmoke stuff tastes perfumelike to me somewhat liked the ry5 and the menthol newport. Tried so many from e-liquid decided I like the essence annisette and the Chinese menthol. Tried some from puresmoker.com and didnt like the tonic stuffs at all. Have an order in from Backwoods brew and vapor4life still havent tried them.

Also Ive only tried the cartomizer 2 piece hardware but seems theres soooo many other ways to vape. Only problem I have is the short battery life on these cart batteries.

Also wondering about the steeping thing all are raving about. maybe is why some I dont like?

Hoping for some good recomendations from y'all. :)

Hi, tesla! Cool name, BTW!

So, you have a short battery life. That tells me that you went for something that looks similar to a cigarette. If you were smoking 3/4 to over a pack per day, that's just not going to work. The answer to that is get a bigger battery. Something like a Riva or an eGo type battery will probably work better for you. The battery life on my Riva batts is 8-10 hours. I have an eGo 900mah and that will easily last me an entire day from the time I wake up until I go to bed. Both are not being completely drained before I put them on the charger.

I usually buy my juice from either VaporBomb or Gourmet Vapor. I love them both and have had nothing but excellent service and great tasting juice. Steeping (also known as aging) can bring out the flavor of some juices. You just let the bottle of juice sit for a few days. Some people take the cap off for a day, some people don't bother. The choice is yours and you can just do what you think works best. Since I started DIY, I leave the cap off for the first day, then I put the cap on and leave it alone for a couple of days.

agree with womanofheart....an ego or riva battery will last longer and produce more consistent vapor than your current PV. Juices from freedomsmokeUSA generally take a week or even two weeks of steeping till they taste their best. Don't give up hope on those juices just yet as they may become more to your liking in time. you will find this to be true of most of the "made-to-order" juice vendors like FSUSA, Backwoods Brew, Ms Ts Bakery and others.

I started out using a 3 piece (seperate cartridge and atomizer) then switched briefly to cartomizers before deciding that dripping and juice feeder mods were the best approach for me. Direct dripping to the atty provides the best flavor (in my opinion anyway), no hassling with filler material that doesn't effectively wick the juice to the atty anyway. With carts I was putting in a full cart worth of drops but having to top the cart off after 2 or 3 drops worth because I was vaping faster than the material could wick even with using some of the cartridge mods that are out there.

First things first. Get copyright protection on that name! I would buy a Tesla Stick personal vaporizer in a heartbeat! (As long as it lived up to the name.)

You'll probably get Liberty Flights as a suggestion for where to buy . . . maybe 5 times or more. LOL I got my first kit from China. *And the boats are slow.* I would suggest looking through some of the sites listed, but get to know a few by reading posts (and sales) here. Thanks for joining! This place is full of so much knowledge, and so many great people!

So where can I get a Riva or Ego at a good price? or shall I just google it? Also wondering if there is a company that sells pre-aged juice?

Loads of suppliers to choose from, but your best bet is to check the Suppliers section
of this Forum. They are all registered with ECF, and if any ever tried a rip off scam
this place would explode with posts reporting such. Any supplier listed on the forum,
has gained the trust of the forum. It's one of the best advantages to reading and posting here.

Just look for the best price, from a supplier that is close to you (less time spent stalking
the mailman) and go for it! :)

p.s. Once you start ordering different flavors your stock of juice will grow enough
that it will "self-age", you just won't be able to vape it all before it ages!!
