I'm Christie. I have been vaping for a couple months and loving it. I am still in the process of leaving analogs, but it is going very well. I have not had an analog today, at all. Thats a first in 22 years.
I was reading gandy's post about having trouble and wanted to share an observation i have made about analogs vs e-cigs. I too have struggled with cravings for the "real" thing" even though I am getting my nicotine fix from the e. What I figured out was how much I "time" things around an analog. It takes approximately 5 minutes to smoke the real thing. My entire morning routine was timed around my cigarettes. One with coffee, one after the shower, one with the news, etc. E-cigs do not have a 5 minute time. KWIM? So my routine got shot and I was early to work for an entire week, lol.
Smoke breaks at work are the same. Instead of lighting a cigarette and timing my break by it, now I take three hits off my e and I am finished. Which means I am actually getting more accomplished during the day.
Anyway, HI everyone. This is the start of my adventure and I am glad to find this forum to learn and share.
