Hi everyone my name is Blair. I used to smoke cigars then got hooked on the nicotine lozenge's. I still love and want cigars. I'm looking into e cigars. I have one on order. I don't inhale so I'm curious if I have to get e cigars to get the nicotine and flavor without inhaleing, or will a regular e vape be able to do the same thing. I'm looking to start with a cheaper model and get a better one when I know what I want. Thank you in advance for any information.

I don't know much about the ecigar. My guess it isn't any different from ecig other than it looks like a cigar. Should be able to get same effect from ecig. There are so many different setups. You can get basic all the way to building your own. Basically what works for you is the way to go. Budget also plays a roll too.

AOKP running on the Gnex.

ya know...I would say to go ahead and get the e-cigar...just for the reason that you were a cigar smoker, a comfort factor.

I bet you are gonna love vaping...all the flavors, similar to selecting a cigar for the flavor.

Welcome to ECF !

adding...and yea, no need to inhale to get your nic.
( a regular e-cig acts the same way )

Hey Brock. I just gave up cigars myself for vaping about a month ago. Don't take my word as gospel since I'll still pretty new to this, but I think you'll have tough time finding a realistic cigar taste. I was smoking La Gloria Cubanas maduro for years and I haven't encountered anything resembling that. Although I didn't inhale, I'm certain I was getting a lot of nicotine into my system, especially on 3-4 (small) cigars a day.

Regardless, ecigs do have a wide range of flavors. Many are really tasty. So, you're going to exchange one type of great flavor for another. Since you mentioned cigars and lozenges, you have a nicotine need to satisfy like me. I still have the ten cigars left that I was going to use to help me wean myself off, as well as 2/3 box of Nicorette. I haven't restrained myself, I just don't have any desire now that I'm vaping.

My advice is to move slowly and do research on the hardware. The options are dizzying.

Good luck.

Hi Blair.

I hope you enjoy your e-cigar when it comes. As far as I know, most e-smoking devices provide a large % of the nicotine through the vapor in the mouth and throat. That being the case, inhaling into the lungs isn't strictly needed....

but it's not my area of knowledge exactly; I just draw into my mouth and then inhale a proportion, like most vapers I guess.

I am on day 11 of no analogs and converted to an electronic cigarette. At first... it took me awhile to get used to the change in flavor and thought about analogs a lot. Now I actually like the flavor of vaping over analogs. This might work the same way with cigars... I tend to research and try to find out everything about the electronic cigarettes. From researching I read that nicotine is absorbed through the skin and mouth. And from reading... in using the electronic cigarette its not necessary to inhale in order to have the nicotine absorbed in our body. This is infor from googling and going to health help sites.
